We built a gaming agent during the @a16z & @elevenlabs hackathon.
The biggest challenges in Web2 and Web3 gaming are:
- Single-player games feel isolated and predictable.
- Gaming lacks humanlike AI-driven interactivity for deeper engagement.
- Current AI interactions are static, scripted, and emotionless.
- Players need companions that evolve, strategize, and enhance gameplay.
We introduced emotions with SophieX, an experiment that gained traction. Projects like @CloudOneplay are integrating SophieX to create gaming companions and train agents to act more human by learning from millions of gamers' strategies.
This can boost engagement in gaming, as players now have a companion for high-level NPCs that speaks over 50 languages and can be integrated in any game in 2mins. Soon we will be using @grok to make SophieX more powerful.

To find that answer, we decided to spend some time with amazing AI builders of Web2 in @elevenlabs and @a16z hackathon.
It was a really great experience. We met tons of amazing builders who are working hard to simplify the world with AI. We got a chance to contribute by participating in the hackathon.
We built a Gaming AI agent who can become your gaming companion. We will share more details on that and how that can change the Web3 gaming space.
