A California Democrat’s staffer and journalist has been ARRESTED by DHS in Las Vegas.
Former KTSF news anchor Ho-Yin Mo was arrested at Harry Reid International Airport.
He is currently working for California Assemblywoman Catherine Stefani.
According to DHS, "Mo lawfully entered the U.S. on a temporary basis but illegally overstayed his welcome by failing to depart by May 15, 2020."
Rep. Stefani’s office pushed out a statement saying, “I am respectfully calling for Ho Yin Mo’s release as soon as possible. Ho Yin is a selfless public servant and a valued, legal employee of the California State Legislature..."

NEW: @StateDept rolls out a new visa restriction policy targeting people who knowingly engage in or facilitate commercial “birth tourism” to the United States.
The policy, announced under Section 212(a)(3)(C) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, targets owners, operators and managers of birth-tourism networks, visa “fixers” accused of coaching applicants to commit fraud, foreign medical providers who knowingly facilitate the travel and fraudulent use of Medicaid, and others who support the practice.
According to the announcement, commercial birth-tourism networks have charged foreign nationals tens of thousands of dollars to arrange births on U.S. soil for the purpose of obtaining U.S. citizenship for their children, including allegedly coaching clients to lie on visa applications.
The administration says the new restrictions are intended to protect the integrity of U.S. citizenship, public benefits and taxpayers while targeting those who profit from the practice.
