No they didn’t. They put up £200m of their own money to buy United, the rest of it was debt leveraged against the club. Very VERY important to keep clear they have not invested a SINGLE PENNY into Man Utd.
🎙️The Glazers invested about £200m of their own money in Man Utd but are already £1.5bn up and still own half the club. It’s been a fantastic investment. For them. For United, it’s been a disaster.

I don't discount or dismiss anything that any supporters' group is doing. I completely echo the sentiment that we should all be standing together, united in our approach.
But for that unity to mean anything, the whole movement needs to be inclusive. Whether you're a regular match-going supporter, someone who occasionally attends games, or someone who follows United from home or watches in the pub, everyone should feel part of it. If we aren't inclusive of all supporters, then ultimately, we'll always be representing a minority rather than the wider fanbase.
Over the last month, I've shared some thoughts with a number of people about developing a strategy that genuinely makes our feelings known, not just to the Glazer family, but also to INEOS, which now controls the club's footballing operations.
For me, visibility is one of the most important aspects of any protest against the club. We have plenty of ideas to explore, and several stages to what I've been proposing. But throwing everything out there at once risks diluting the message. We need to keep the issue visible, keep raising it and build momentum over time.
Ultimately, though, if we do nothing, what is the point?
My proposal is that we bring Green & Gold back.
Start wearing those colours again. Make a visible statement that you are unhappy with the current state of our football club and the direction it is heading in.
It's simple. It doesn't require much organisation, financial commitment, or effort. But collectively, it can make a powerful visual statement. Bringing Green & Gold back into the stadium, around the ground, and across social media would show unity and make it clear that supporters still feel the same way.
It can start with two simple things:
- Wear Green & Gold to the match.
- Update your social media profiles to show your support for Green & Gold.
This is just the first step. It's about visibility, raising awareness and, above all, unity.
We don't all have to agree on every approach or action, but we should be able to stand together on something that reflects how we feel about OUR club's current state.
Shoot me down if you want, but if you do, at least come forward with an alternative that is realistic and achievable. This is about bringing supporters together, not creating further divisions between us.
We have one common enemy here. That's where we should focus. Not on each other.
@MU_ST @The__1958 @TraMufc @muyscofficial
So here’s where we are at…..
@The__1958 cannot fight this battle against the owners on their own, that’s plain to see.
Unless ALL major supporters groups of MANCHESTER UNITED come together and start singing from the same song sheet then we are totally fucked.
It’s a now or never moment in my opinion. it’s time for every supporters club, fan group and offical trust to work towards a greater good.
Fuck dialogue with the club, it’s pointless and has been for years.
I believe the only way forward is for the FAB and FF to cut the club off with a vote of no confidence. That’s the start. Then…. Let your feet do the talking, however that looks. Any details of protests, be it a walk out, sit in, boycott or whatever the plan may be will be utterly pointless unless everyone supports it.
Thats the sad reality here, time to wake the fuck up or……
Enjoy Ratcliffe and the Glazers for the unforeseeable
It’s up to you

The sad truth is probably the only person who cares about the club is the one who’ll be sacked in the morning.
Meanwhile, these cowardly players and parasitic owners will continue to get away scot free.
MUST Chair retweeted
They are going to sack the manager, and the manager can’t survive this. He’s not been good enough this season.
But this will never get better while INEOS and the Glazers are in situ.
For the good of @ManUtd, they must now begin to relinquish their ownership of the club.

A blood-letting of unprecedented scale in the Stretford End in that second-half.
“Sell United and fuck off home.”
“You can stick your new stadium up your arse.”
Bonfire chant for Glazers + Jim Ratcliffe.
Jason Wilcox also a target.
Players booed.

Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox should have no future at Manchester United. They have spectacularly failed at building a squad or appointing a manager and should be replaced.
MUST Chair retweeted
Hard to see how Berrada survives this too. He’s the ceo of an organisation that has got almost every football decision wrong since he’s been in the building. Apparently hired because he had expertise across both commercial and football.
All the chaos at United starts and ends with the ownership. We all know this. Everything in between - the standards dropping, the football falling apart, the culture eroding - has just been the inevitable fallout. Until that changes, nothing will.
With respect, we knew exactly how rubbish the Glazers would be.
What we underestimated was how rubbish INEOS and the new mgmt would be.
Been no better in terms of the football and miles worse with the fans.
"I think we all underestimate how rubbish the Glazers are."

Replying to @MU_ST @MUFC_Naughty1
Glazers fucked our finances but even they weren't stupid enough to compound that by directly targeting our matchgoing fanbase especially at a time when the team were failing on the pitch. Price hikes and aggressive ticketing policies just at the time we should have been circling the wagons. They were warned, but were convinced they knew better – at Urmston, England

I remember an article from @MU_ST who said with the Glazers in charge we will become useless like their NFL team. I didn’t believe it back then but they were sure fucking right about it

Ownership Matters: Football Must Put Integrity Before Wealth
In recent days, MUST has been asked by a number of media organisations to set out our view following reports that Manchester City have been found guilty of the overwhelming majority – reportedly 114 out of 115 – of the Premier League charges brought against them.
Manchester City continue to deny wrongdoing and are expected to appeal. They are entitled to do so. But if these findings are upheld, this cannot be dismissed as an accounting error or an accidental breach of complex rules. It would amount to industrialised cheating on an unprecedented scale.
For years MUST has argued that ownership matters in football.
At Manchester United we have seen one form of bad ownership: the Glazers loading the Club with enormous debt while extracting hundreds of millions of pounds through dividends, interest and associated costs.

Just to clarify the headline quote refers to the impact on fan relations.
This IS the worst thing for fan relations in 2 decades. If you're one of 100s of season ticket holders losing your ST you will know this.
