In a 14‑institution study of 2,150 cases, intraoperative 0.05% chlorhexidine gluconate use with hydrophilic inflatable penile prostheses was linked to higher infection rates (4.6% vs 2.1%) suggesting caution until further prospective data are available

Really proud of my team for publishing this on the transvesical approach to bladder neck reconstruction. We developed this after hundreds of transvesical simple prostatectomy w/360 anastomosis. With this experience under our belt, it was a natural next step to do BNR. Congrats!!!
