It’s October 7th, 2026 and Trump & the Republicans are still big-government, big-spending, warmongering protectors of the DC swamp & elite Epstein pedophiles.

A few very obvious points on Mamdani's grocery stores: 1. The supply of the discounted groceries will run out on day 1, and every day there is a new shipment. This is basic econ 101. 2. This means only the people who are lucky enough or fast enough will get these discounted groceries. Expect to see the city ration these groceries in some other way. By income, or neighborhood or some lottery system. 3. Grocery margins are notoriously low as it is (like 2-3%). These stores will lose a bunch of money selling 30% below market, or they'll sell so little it will be insignificant. 4. There is absolutely zero chance that government bureaucrats can source these products from global supply chains as efficiently as Walmart, or Meier, or Whole Foods, whose survival depends on it. Their costs will be far higher (unless they use government bludgeon to force distributors to sell to them at lower prices). 5. It's actually an incredible triumph of capitalism that you can get a pound of bananas that were shipped to your neighborhood from Equador for like 60 cents, or fresh grapes from Chile in the dead of Midwestern winter for 2 bucks a pound, and Norwegian salmon to cook in Italian olive oil for $15 -20 bucks or so. Truly stop and think about that for a minute. It's a miracle. The median full time hourly wage is around $31 dollars. For ONE HOUR of work, the median working American can get all of the groceries listed below, which is about 22,000 calories. They can feed themselves for 10 days (or a family of 4 for around 2 and a half days), with an hour of labor. This is the stupidest industry for socialists to go after.
NYC Mayor Mamdani announces five city-run, tax-funded grocery stores with "prices set at 30% below retail prices."

It does not matter whether the man federal immigration agents killed in Maine had work authorization. It does not matter whether he had a social security number. The state killed a man, and the national conversation turned first to his paperwork. That order of priorities is worth sitting with for a moment. The debate underway is whether the victim somehow earned his own death. The question that should be asked, why agents of the state are killing people over immigration status at all, has gone strangely quiet. It deserves saying plainly: this is not a normal practice anywhere. Most authoritarian states, whatever else they do, do not execute people over work permits. Among Western democracies, the number of countries that do this is zero. I say that carefully, and I include the United States in the arithmetic. A country where this happens, and where the response is to audit the victim, has stepped outside that category, whether or not it has noticed yet. Nobody knows where this ends. America will not repeat anyone else's history; it will make its own, and its own history books will one day have to account for this chapter. But the direction of travel is visible from here, and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise. What worries an outside observer most is not any single incident but the paralysis around them. When one side asks the government to stop killing innocent people, the answer is not reflection but reflex: do not listen to them, they are the other side. When even that request has become a partisan position, something essential has already broken. And the pattern from here is familiar. One killing becomes several. Unrest follows, because decent people will try to stop what they cannot accept. And unrest, in turn, becomes the argument for emergency powers, manufactured or real, which enable more of what caused the unrest in the first place. This is not prophecy. It is simply how these sequences have always run. For decades, people asked how ordinary countries slid into darkness. The answer was never a dramatic turning point with sinister music. It was a Tuesday, a news cycle, a paperwork debate over a dead man. Then another one. To my American friends reading this: I know the majority of you want no part of it. But watching from the outside, we notice something your own media seems unwilling to show: one half of your country has effectively been silenced. Not argued down, simply removed from the picture. The cameras point one way now. They find endless airtime for the people explaining why someone had to die, why a mother lunged at twenty-two masked men, why the latest body is somehow its own fault. The people asking why any of this is happening at all do not get a microphone. A majority you can neither see nor hear is still a majority. I have known your country too long to doubt it. So the rest of us will say what your cameras will not: the America worth remembering does not kill people, documented or not, and every single one of you knows exactly why that sentence should never have needed writing. Everyone screams "MILLIONAIRES SHOULD PAY THIER FAIR SHARE"... but look at what actually happens. A $200k earner pays roughly $50,000 in federal taxes annually. A $35k earner pays about $2,500. It takes 20 workers making $35k to equal what one person earning $200k contributes. So why are we pushing top earners to leave the country when they already fund the majority? The real issue isn't insufficient tax collection. The real issue is government spending $2 trillion on programs nobody can audit. Stop attacking earners. Start demanding accountability from politicians who waste it all.

I’ve spoken with Major Jason Watson. He knew exactly what this would cost him. He gave up his military career to take a brave stand for democracy. History tends to remember people who risk everything for their principles, not the people demanding blind obedience. Patriotism that only works with obedience isn’t patriotism.

The theory that Nancy Pelosi "staged" J6 relies entirely on a complete misunderstanding of civics and classic logical fallacies. First, it relies on a false authority claim: the Speaker of the House does not command the military, meaning Pelosi had zero power to deny or deploy the D.C. National Guard, only the President holds that authority. The real timeline shows it was Donald Trump who hesitated for hours to deploy the Guard while watching the violence unfold on television. Second, it relies on cherry-picked evidence: critics use unedited video of her saying "I take responsibility" as a "smoking gun" admission, completely ignoring the context of the footage where she was venting leadership frustration over massive intelligence failures across federal agencies that underestimated the threat prior to J6, while frantically calling governors to beg for backup. Finally, the motive makes zero logical sense: rioters actively ransacked her office and shouted threats while hunting her down. Staging a violent siege that put her own life in danger and delayed a democratic certification her own party desperately wanted defies basic human reasoning. Believing this myth requires ignoring official military timelines, basic civics, and hours of raw video evidence just to shift blame away from the actual perpetrators. Facts matter.

They loved Marjorie Taylor Greene, now they hate her. They loved Thomas Massie, now they hate him. They loved Lauren Boebert, now they hate her. They made fun of Biden for nodding off ("Sleepy Joe), now they ignore Trump outright falling asleep. They put "I Did That" Biden stickers on high gas prices, now they ignore gas prices being even higher. They bragged about Trump being the no wars President, now they support war. They bashed Biden for sending money to Ukraine, now they ignore Trump sending money to both Ukraine and Israel. They demanded the Epstein files, now they bash anyone asking for the Epstein files. To be a MAGA is to be a slave. Not physically, but mentally. They stand for nothing. We're up against people who stand for nothing. And with the most misplaced confidence you've ever seen, they try to tell us whats-what. We shouldn't even acknowledge these people. The Trump supporters that remain are mentally too far gone. I don't even want to argue with them anymore.

To those of you who keep asking if I think we would have been better off under Kamala, the answer is no. Trump is a traitor. Biden had demenita. Kamala was a clueless puppet. It's not one or the other. All can be simultaneously true at once.

Here's the thing. We handed Trump everything. On a golden platter. We gave him the House. We gave him the Senate. We gave him the greatest comeback victory in political history with a popular vote never before seen in a presidential campaign. We fought for him. We believed in him. Many of us lost friends. Lost jobs. Lost FAMILY over our support of him. Many of us have dedicated more than a decade of our lives to him in the hopes of seeing him succeed. Some even spent YEARS in prison. Some DIED for the cause. Only to be lied to. Used. Betrayed. So I don't particularly give a fuck what any of you MAGA cultists out there who are too stupid to realize how badly you've been played think of me. I don't think of you at all.

Send ICE to Iran ASAP!

President Trump says the US in conjunction with "many countries" is sending war ships to the Strait of Hormuz to keep it "open and safe." Trump also calls on China, France, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and others to send war ships to Hormuz. Oh. Oh this is beautiful. This is the geopolitical equivalent of the guy who starts a bar fight, gets his head put through the pool table, and then looks up at the bouncer with blood pouring out of his nose going "Are you gonna DO something about these guys?!" Let me get this straight. You bombed Iran. YOU started this. You launched Operation Epic Fury like a kid naming his Nerf gun. You flattened their cities, cratered their infrastructure, killed God knows how many civilians, and now that they've done the ONE thing that every single analyst on Earth said they would do... close the Strait of Hormuz... you're asking CHINA for help? CHINA. The country you've spent three years tariffing into oblivion. The country you called an enemy of civilisation. You want THEM to send warships to protect YOUR oil supply chain? In what universe does Xi Jinping take that phone call and not just put it on speaker so the whole room can laugh? And here's the bit that should be printed on a plaque and hung in the Smithsonian under the heading "Weapons Grade Cognitive Dissonance Dipshit." Direct quote from the man himself: "We have already destroyed 100% of Iran's Military capability." Next sentence. LITERALLY the next sentence: "But it's easy for them to send a drone or two, drop a mine, or deliver a close range missile somewhere along, or in, this Waterway." I'M SORRY, WHAT? You destroyed ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of their military capability and they can STILL mine one of the most important shipping lanes on the planet? What kind of shit maths is that? That's not 100%, mate. That's not even close to 100%. If you hired a pest exterminator and he said "I've eliminated 100% of the termites, but they can still eat your house," you'd want your money back. He calls the Strait closure an "artificial constraint." ARTIFICIAL. Brother, there is nothing artificial about it. You dropped bombs on a sovereign nation and they blocked a chokepoint that carries 20% of the world's oil. That's not artificial. That's called CONSEQUENCES. That's cause and effect. That's the thing that happens AFTER the thing you did. Toddlers understand this concept. You touch the stove, you get burned. You bomb Iran, they close Hormuz. This is not complicated. And the absolute cheek of calling Iran "a Nation that has been totally decapitated" while simultaneously admitting they're holding the entire global energy market hostage with speedboats and sea mines. Pick a lane, Donald. Either they're decapitated or they're not. You don't get to claim total victory AND beg France for naval escorts in the same paragraph. Speaking of France. And Japan. And South Korea. And the UK. Notice who's NOT on that list? Australia. Not even worth asking apparently. Which, honestly, fair enough, because we've got about four days of fuel reserves and a navy that couldn't project force to Bondi Beach, but it does sort of highlight how far down the pecking order we've fallen while our politicians were busy kissing the ring at Mar-a-Lago. But here's the real headline buried under all the tough-guy cosplay. He's LOSING. This post is what losing looks like when you're a narcissist who can't say the word. He can't reopen the Strait alone. The US Navy, for all its power, cannot clear mines and fight asymmetric warfare across a narrow waterway while simultaneously bombing the shoreline AND keeping tanker traffic flowing. It's a logistical nightmare and he knows it. That's why he's begging. That's why a man who has never asked anyone for anything in his life is out here publicly requesting that other nations come bail him out. And they won't. Because why would they? China's already getting its oil overland from Russia. France has no skin in this game. Japan and South Korea are furious about tariffs. And the UK is trying to figure out how to diplomatically distance itself from a war it never supported without losing its trade deal. He's alone. He did this to himself. And the only people who'll pay the price are the rest of us, watching fuel prices rip through the roof while this spray-tanned catastrophe stands at the podium claiming everything is going exactly to plan. One way or the other, he says. OPEN, SAFE, and FREE, he says. Mate, the only thing that's open is the hole you've dug yourself into. And it's getting deeper by the hour.

I grew up Republican. Still am in many ways. But MAGA pushed the party so far right that I get called a liberal now. Let me explain the difference: Traditional Republicans believe in: • Fiscal responsibility (balanced budgets, not exploding deficits for tax cuts) • Limited government (actual small government, not big government that punishes your enemies) • Strong institutions (courts, elections, constitutional norms matter) • Personal responsibility (your actions have consequences) • Free markets (not tariffs and trade wars) • Strong alliances (NATO, international partnerships) • Rule of law (no one is above it, including the president) MAGA Republicans believe in: • Whatever Trump says today (even if it contradicts yesterday) • Loyalty tests (agree 100% or you're a traitor/RINO) • Conspiracy theories over facts (stolen election, deep state, QAnon adjacent stuff) • Grievance politics (owning the libs > actual policy) • Personality cult (Trump loyalty above party, above country, above truth) • Performative outrage (culture war theater instead of governance) • Ends justify means (storm the Capitol, ignore election results, whatever it takes) I didn't move left. The party moved off a cliff. I still believe in conservative principles. But when you say "maybe we should respect election results" or "fiscal responsibility matters" or "rule of law applies to everyone," you get called a liberal. That's not conservatism. That's a cult.
