• Crypto Mixer Traces: The stolen funds are being routed to a brand-new address that was funded via Tornado Cash (a crypto mixer), which is a common tactic used to obscure transaction trails.

• Former CEO (CZ) Statement: Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) stated, "User funds are SAFU! Looks like a cyberattack on Binance," adding that as a shareholder, he expects all user losses to be fully covered.
• Billions of Dollars Frozen: To prevent the attacker from laundering or cashing out the funds, stablecoin issuers intervened rapidly. Tether (USDT) immediately froze approximately $1.56 billion, and Circle (USDC) froze $823 million, heavily restricting the attacker's movements.
