I think people are delusional if they think Laika were going to make bank on Wildwood. Their films have never had ‘broad appeal’ and this one narrows the market with its heavy lean to fantasy. If it wasn’t Laika, in the medium they excel at, I doubt I’d have gone to watch it

My selfish take on the Bond thing is I’d prefer Callum to get it - specifically because I like Josh and Jack better, and I think they’re far more interesting, & I don’t want their prime years locked in on Bond when they could be making Art. Callum would do a perfectly decent Bond
