Everything about the decoy Dan Sullivan thing is so contrived & manufactured, from the plot itself to the outrage/contreversy about it, when the guy is going to get like 1% in the first round and have an even smaller share of those votes exhaust z_z

The env’t might still allow him to win but this is another sign of how much more difficult AES has made this race. Many Dems will throw up their hands at both, but as the nominee the burden of building a majority coalition falls mostly on him. Yet his 1st instinct is to narrow.

.@PaulBegala's message to the El-Sayed campaign on its controversial ad featuring Tucker Carlson: "He's making it hard on me, as a strategist, to understand why the hell you'd run an ad with Tucker when you've got footage of President Obama?!"

That Abdul El-Sayed has refused every opportunity to make a simple statement condemning a blatantly false and anti-Semitic ad produced on his behalf tells you pretty much everything you need to know about both his arrogance and his utter contempt for Jewish voters.
More Democrats need to be like @HaleyforMI
CNN: How top Democrats negotiated a joint El-Sayed and Stevens appearance that's still tenuous
According to a source familiar with the matter, there were talks through Thursday night and into the early Friday morning hours about getting Stevens onto the campaign trail with El-Sayed, who faces Republican former Rep. Mike Rogers in a contest critical to the battle for majority control of the Senate.
But Stevens was only willing to do so if he clearly disavows an ad by an outside group that alleges that high prices in Michigan are the result of foreign aid given to Israel. Stevens and some Jewish Democrats have denounced the ad as antisemitic.
The Michigan Democratic Party chair Curtis Hertel and Stevens’ fiancé Jason Turkish were involved in the negotiations between the two.

News agencies can cover this as much as they want — but it would be wrong not to give equal coverage to the fake “Stop Israel’s Genocide” candidate Republicans put up in my old district #NJ07 to siphon votes from a Democratic challenger.
EXCLUSIVE: CBS News chief Bari Weiss faced “significant resistance” from staff at the network’s 9am meeting this morning while discussing the growing Alaska ballot scandal as she urged reporters to dig into the story, according to sources at the meeting.

This religious test for holding public office would disqualify every religious minority from elected office. This is straight-up Islamophobic and antisemitic, and everyone needs to call it out.
Moreno said the quiet part out loud: There's no place for Jewish or Muslim Americans in the GOP's vision for America.
“If your opposition to anti-Semitism applies only to your ideological adversaries, and you excuse or ignore it from your allies, it is an empty bromide.”
If you're trying to understand why so many Michigan Jewish Democrats are defecting, I wrote in August about it. It's not, per se, about foreign policy. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0…

I like Tim, but if you believe someone is bigoted against you because of your religion, you don’t just get in line. Would we expect a Black person to vote for someone they thought was a racist? Of course not,

Democrats have spent tens of millions propping up AES’s candidacy, when if Stevens had been the nominee they’d likely be spending a fraction of that.
Even if AES wins, think of the opportunities lost to expand the map because of the money wasted in Michigan
2 separate articles about what a weak campaign he's running today. Probably not a great sign.
The most infuriating part is that The Establishment is basically single-handedly propping him up with their heaving spending and popular surrogates and yet the discourse #onhere among his supporters is solely about how mean The Establishment is and how they're trying to sabotage him because some people have said some slightly critical things about his campaigns (and/or his campaign surrogate streamers) and there are some defections from completely marginal figures.

Depicting Jewish concerns over anti-Semitism as "prioritizing a personal grievance" is a pretty good explanation for why so many Michigan Jews are voting for Rogers.
When Democrats make clear they don't care about Jewish fears of anti-Semitism, and they don't believe that Democratic candidates who have used anti-Semitic tropes and campaigned with anti-Semites have a responsibility to reassure Jewish voters, they are saying the quiet part out loud: they simply don't care about Jewish safety and security.
If this seat decides Senate control it’ll allow Trump to appoint a young conservative to replace Alito and maybe another to replace Thomas—locking in GOP control of SCOTUS for a generation.
I’d love to hear what @HaleyforMI thinks about her fiancé prioritizing his personal grievances over those considerations.

This ad is vile antisemitism, plain and simple.
Abdul El-Sayed needs to stop hiding. He must condemn it, and tell his friend to take it down. Scapegoating Jews is one of the oldest tropes in the book, and it has led to violence from the pogroms to the Holocaust to our communities today.
Silence isn’t leadership. Abdul needs to call out this hate. No excuses, no hiding.

Bullshit alert. Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza should be voting in Palestinian elections. But the Palestinian Authority has refused to hold elections since 2006. And the Hamas terrorists in Gaza haven't held elections since seizing power in 2007.
This is the classic deception of so many Palestinian activists: blame Israel while pretending Palestinians have no agency or responsibility for their own future.

There's a legitimate argument for Jews to vote for AES. It can no way be construed as a "moral obligation."

Pod Save America's Jon Lovett says Jews have a "moral obligation" to support Abdul El-Sayed
"I just want to be very clear: Jews in Michigan have a moral obligation to support Abdul. They should do it to protect themselves from antisemitism and rising hatred in America."
