The electorate aren’t goldfish. Our memories are long enough to recall June 2024, when you declared that trans-identified men with penises should be able to use women’s public bathrooms. It took a Supreme Court ruling to force you to uphold women’s rights, and now you pose as our bold champion? Please.
The time for talk has long passed. This government is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to supporting women and girls.
We'll back practical action to confine misogyny to the history books - in public services, workplaces, and online.

Britain's new Respect Orders have come into force today, and I find them deeply concerning.
I fully support restoring respect and tackling antisocial behaviour, but this feels worryingly dystopian.
The problem is that different people have very different definitions of what causes “alarm or distress”.
Let me give you three examples.
Is someone peacefully protesting against mass immigration causing alarm or distress?
Is someone questioning whether trans women should be allowed into women's spaces causing alarm or distress?
Is a journalist confronting a politician with difficult questions causing alarm or distress?
All three could make somebody uncomfortable. But that doesn't mean they should be punished.
Breaching a Respect Order can carry a prison sentence of up to two years.
Yes, a court must approve these orders, but I'm concerned about how broadly they could be interpreted and whether the powers could be abused.
Freedom of speech means absolutely nothing if the government can punish people simply because somebody else finds their opinions distressing.
Respect should be restored, but not at the expense of our fundamental freedoms.
This legislation deserves serious scrutiny.

People who want us to pay slavery reparations are not only ignorant of history.
They want to impoverish their constituents to compensate those who have never been wronged.
Slavery existed in every culture and every generation of world history. Only the British stopped it.

These men had to circle this young woman to protect her from violent trans activists so she simply could ask politely & scientifically, for fair sport! We have dropped so low it’s mind blowing. There should be zero argument over keeping a sports category for females free of all males.

For those of you who thought the visit from a Bedford Borough Council official to investigate our daughter Zoe’s (age 12) pretend teddy bear cafe was too ridiculous to be real, here is the arrival of official. This is totally legit. She really did show up at our property to investigate the illegal teddy bears having their coffee🧸🧸☕️☕️

This is one of the most illiberal, invasive and appalling pieces of legislation ever to come before Parliament.
The Conversion Practices Bill isn’t about preventing gay children from being abusively coerced into being straight. That is already rightly illegal.
It will criminalise well-intentioned conversations between parents and gender-confused children, discussions with therapists, and religious leaders sharing their faith’s teachings with their congregations.
A parent could face up to five years in prison simply for trying to dissuade their child from embarking on irreversible, dangerous and life-changing medical pathways before the age of 18.
In his letter to the pre-legislative scrutiny committee, the Minister for Equalities attempts to reassure us that the bill respects “freedom of religion and parental rights”.
It does no such thing.
So much for the Labour Government’s promise to tread more lightly on our lives. It is not the state’s role to dictate what conversations parents can have with their young children around the dinner table.
Parents know best — not ministers.

The irony is a British women’s football team competing at the Olympics will NOT have to play against males but in a women’s World Cup brought to the uk (with tax payers money) females would have to play males regardless of Uk law saying that should not happen! Because @UKLabour voted against assured fair & safe sport for women & girls yesterday & the fence sitting @LibDems abstained 🤨 Our girls deserve reality sex based rights in sport

This Government wants to make welfare spending EVEN HIGHER.
Meanwhile, next week’s budget will RAISE TAXES.
All Labour MPs ask is “who can we tax to spend more on benefits”. This is the consequence ⬇️

To clarify. It’s actually even worse.
The horror of what our families face is this: my son’s killer, Valdo Calocane, was given a Section 37/41 hospital order. This is medical care, not a penal sentence.
By January 2027—the 3-year mark—he can legally apply to a tribunal to come out if deemed well enough. Worse, until our recent fight to close the loophole, these criminal patients actively pocketed up to £800/month in state benefits from their hospital beds.
A hospital order is not prison. We face a life sentence ensuring this monster is never released. #JusticeForBarnaby #NottinghamAttacks 💚💛

The BBC has no business pushing a left-wing agenda on our children. Games urging pupils to campaign for Amnesty International, which branded gender-critical women’s rights organisations “anti-rights”, or promoting open borders are completely unacceptable.
The BBC must be impartial & I’ve written to the BBC demanding these “educational games” be removed.

The witch hunt against British military personnel continues.
Five SAS soldiers investigated for murder after an operation against ISIS in Syria.
Their legal aid was reportedly capped at just £500, forcing them to use their own savings.
Meanwhile, British taxpayers paid one law firm, Duncan Lewis LLP, over £6 million in legal aid for asylum cases in a single year, between 2024 to 2025.
Three years later, no charges were brought against the soldiers.
All five have since left the Army.
What a disgraceful way to treat those who risk their lives defending Britain.
And we wonder why Army recruitment is struggling?
Our soldiers deserve better than being thrown under the bus.
🚨 NEW: SAS soldiers arrested for murder after Syria mission then sent back to fight.
• A Sunday Times investigation has revealed that five SAS soldiers were placed under investigation for double murder after shooting two people during a July 2022 night operation in Syria targeting an Isis cell leader.
• The troops said they acted in self-defence after coming under fire while trying to capture the target; an initial internal review supported this, but it was later overturned.
• They were arrested, including at secret bases, and had homes raided as part of a Royal Military Police inquiry known as Operation Tanglement, facing potential life sentences.
• Within 48 hours of being interviewed they were returned to the Syrian warzone to conduct further operations against Isis.
• Legal aid was capped at £500 meaning soldiers had to use their personal savings.
• After three years no charges were brought, though the soldiers were told the case could be reopened; all five have since left the Army.

😡 The BBC is supposed to be an independent, impartial broadcaster, separate from the Government.
Yet now we’re learning that 39 civil servants have been seconded into BBC newsrooms over the past eight years.. helping write and fact check stories about immigration, small boats, crime, Covid and government budgets.
Some of that work appeared under BBC News and BBC Verify without readers knowing government employees had contributed. 🤦🏻♀️
See the problem here?
The BBC is supposed to scrutinise the Government.. not have government employees helping produce the very news reports we’re relying on to hold it accountable.
And suddenly, the Government talking about extending the BBC licence fee to people who don’t even watch the BBC is making a lot more sense now, isn’t it? 🤦🏻♀️
And we’re expected to trust the BBC’s impartiality while being legally required to fund it through the licence fee? 🤔

🔥 Er … the BBC appears to be trying to brainwash our children.
Now, this should come as no surprise, because the BBC is a fully signed up member of the UN’s propaganda arm tasked with ensuring the narrative is prominently platformed.
Using the Bitesize website, the BBC teaches children about immigration, Net Zero and globalisation. And look what happens when children make the WRONG political choices.
If children choose to deport migrants, they lose points. But if they choose open borders they gain 3 points for the economy and 2 for public health.
If they decide open borders are too radical, they get ZERO points.
BBC Bitesize tells pupils that believing migrants take jobs from local people likely arises from prejudice!
Children are encouraged to petition local government over Net Zero, told they may need to fly less and eat less meat, and introduced to the wonderful promise of a borderless world.
The BBC appears to see its role as underpinning ‘correct’ thought and that legitimate contested political questions are settled science and only the global view wins the game!
And we are forced to pay for it🔥.

This is just not true. As soon as I became foreign secretary I asked the security services the same question and they replied that there was no evidence of any successful interference in the 2016 referendum, by Russia or any other power.
Either the security services have changed their view - which would be very odd - or Burnham is lying about what he has been told. After all Starmer was in power for two years and had access to exactly the same information.
