Can anyone give a thoughtful answer here? All the comments are just garbage
CAN SOMEONE WALK ME THROUGH THIS LIKE I'M IN KINDERGARTEN
If AI takes over most of the jobs, who exactly is supposed to buy what these companies sell? A business needs customers, and customers need paychecks.
Every CEO is racing to cut headcount and brag about the savings, but nobody will say where the money comes from once millions of people have no income.
Who buys the cars, the phones, the subscriptions, the groceries?
I keep waiting for someone in the room to ask that one simple question, and it never comes up.
If you want to make millions of dollars in your life you need to be taking chances.
My biggest wins in life always came from saying yes to new and scary things.
I dropped out of university to start my first business when an opportunity came to me
It ended up going nowhere. I lost most of my money and a full year of my time.
I thought about going back to Uni.
I even interviewed for jobs.
But I ended up not taking any of those. Instead I continued down my own path of entrepreneurship.
I was very interested in cryptocurrency at the time.
So I started a consultancy company. Started an events company.
It was doing OK, but no big hit. No home run.
But it was enough to put food on the table for a young 20 year old.
This was all around 2016, and what I didn't know at the time was that a massive wave of hype was coming for blockchain and cryptocurrency
And I was already surfing on that wave.
What followed was 7 years of crazy adventures.
And what previously seemed like many years of wasted time with little to show for, was now starting to pay off massively.
In under 2 years I had made my first million, and it was just the beginning.
What's happening now with AI is a similar wave.
If you were positioned correctly at the start of that wave, you also had a crazy run.
You can still make money now, but competition is a lot harder.
The point is that you never know what's around the corner
You need to be taking shots constantly.
Always say yes to new opportunities, and continue to try out new ideas.
And be bold in taking risk, especially if you're young.
Government finally being efficient and people are complaining
The WHITE HOUSE VIBE CODED their website 馃槀
And they didn't even hide it
Go to fraud.gov and tell me that is not a raw opus 4.8 output
Every experienced vibe coder I know, knows how to make the output look more natural.
They could have easily used the "make it look less like AI" line - and didn't
We have amateur vibe coders in the white house lol
4 dark patterns that will 10x your app revenue
- a high weekly price that makes your annual plan look cheap
- a short 3 day trial that people forget
- a long and time consuming onboarding + hard paywall
- not sending any notifications to paid inactive users
Now that the fat man is in jail, let me tell you a crazy Richard Heart story from 2018
Me and @IvanOnTech were running a crypto conference called BLOXPO in Stockholm
Yes, the one with the pants
And Whale James himself was a speaker there.
He arrived together with a male friend of his, not sure who it was or what his name was. But they were travelling together.
After the conference we hosted a party for all attendees and speakers
Richard at this time loved to party. So of course he was there
This was before HEX and Pulsechain were even conceived.
During this party Richard had been chatting up a female friend of ours
And at the end of the party, Richard invited her to an afterparty at his hotel.
She was skeptical of there even being an afterparty, but ended up going with Richard and his male travel companion.
The three of them make it to their hotel room, which of course ends up just being an empty hotel room with Richard and his friend.
Instantly as they enter the room, Richard and his male friend undresses completely and starts dancing, completely butt naked.
With their dicks swinging around the room, our female friend leaves.
Apparently they barely notice that she left. I guess they were busy.
She told us this story the next day.
And I never saw Richard Heart again.
Completely overwhelmed by the support on my post from yesterday! I'm trying my best to reply to everyone
Thanks to @robj3d3 for encouraging me to post my face on here. Turns out it works!
Hello from Sweden 鉂勶笍馃嚫馃嚜
After many years of building businesses in crypto I'm starting from scratch once again.
Currently building apps in the fitness space, and looking to connect with more entrepreneurs, builders and hustlers 馃
Come say hi. Let鈥檚 connect
It seems like our world has lost our ability to design beautiful things
All new things are terrible
Movies, music, cars, and buildings.
Boring, ugly and all look the same
I started to think about it now with all of these retro throwback cars
Renault 5
Ford bronco
The new Citroen 2CV looking thing
They can鈥檛 actually design good looking cars anymore, so they fall back and rely on people鈥檚 love for the past.
And when they do try to create an actual new design, it looks like complete garbage.
Same thing with music. I hear more and more songs, at least here in Sweden, that are re-makes of old bangers.
I don鈥檛 think it was caused by AI, because it seems to have started before the mainstreaming of LLMs.
But AI will surely just strenghten this trend, as people continue to outsource their thinking to AI, and as its training data consist purely of past human creations.
What caused this?
Noticing slower and slower app store reviews.
How does this end when new app submissions will just continue to increase?
