She very diligently fell in line for ~95% of the general election campaign in spite of disagreeing with AES on his #1 issue. I don't think this was inevitable, I think this is what happens when she decided she had no future political career to lose in the event of an AES win.

Israel being under majority support in the general population dates to 2026, Democrats from 2023. Anti-Israel sentiment is concentrated on the far-left + far-right. What's consistent is that most Americans don't consider it their top issue.

I don’t think Palestinians will see a deal like that again. West Bank settlements have multiplied, Gaza has a new de facto border, and the conciliatory wing of Israeli politics is probably on the outs for a long while.

Active military assistance polls in low net negative pluralities (e.g., -6% in attached example). Any aid at all usually polls better. Israel should exist is different. AES is outside of the 76% with his evasions on the topic.

It’s on the other side of Mason-Dixon (which runs north-south instead of east-west for that segment).

Section 6 doesn't really distinguish between civil and criminal arrest. It's also limited to "during attendance" and "going to and returning from." Congress could overrule the executive, probably by declaring eligibility, definitely by passing a writ of citizenship... but...

No more and no less than it prevents her from being arrested or imprisoned, i.e., at best in a very temporary fashion. Members of Congress have been jailed - Matthew Lyon missed most of the whole of the 3rd session of the 5th Congress (and was re-elected while incarcerated).
