I've been in politics for a quarter century. It's hard to express how staggering it is to see a conversation like this on corporate US media. The Morning Joe panel gobsmacked by the directness of @AbdulElSayed's points.

Seems the unions are rolling over. Australia's school children to be taught 'special holocaust theory' at the behest of a foreign lobby now supporting the Palestinian genocide
Not a word from teachers unions. Does Never Again not mean never again?

So it turns out governing your own country on behalf of the israeli regime is not at all popular.
Hope someone tells Albo 🤔

Am I correct in thinking the two-month lag between election and assuming office is because 250 years ago it took a couple months to get to DC on a horse? If so, maybe time to retire that nonsense?

#RIP Patrick Stewart of Star Trek and X Men ...
On 12-4-1997, after getting a @PressClubDC coffee mug, he was asked, "Just from a purely logical point of view, why is it that a Captain whose name is Jean-Luc Picard have a perfect English accent?"
Patrick Stewart answer here:
EVERY drone in Israel's genocide in Gaza come out of the research labs of the Weizmann Institute of Science,Tel Aviv.
The Elbit drones shredding children's bodies are created in Weizmann Labs.
Never forget, Jillian Segal sits on the Board of the Weizmann

Two reasons I’m posting this video.
1 - It’s yet another performance from Sir Patrick Stewart that I adore.
2 - The guy who posted this video has blocked me for some reason, but I can still post the video, so haha, suck on that pal.

Sir Patrick Stewart has left us, and the world is poorer for it. Beyond the monumental body of work he gave us across stage, film and television, there was that unforgettable night at the 2010 Glamour Awards when he put James Corden firmly in his place.
As host, Corden had been loitering at the back of the stage with his hands in his pockets, looking thoroughly bored while presenters and winners did their thing. Stewart, up to present an award, turned and addressed him directly:
“When the presenters are up here and when the recipients are receiving their awards, don’t stand at the back of the stage with your hands in your pockets, looking around as though you wished you were anywhere but here.”
Corden, clearly taken by surprise and not used to being spoken to like that, tried to hit back: “You couldn’t be more wrong, sir. You couldn’t be more wrong. If it looked like that, I’m so sorry, but when you come up and present an award, just fucking get on with it!”
Stewart wasn’t finished. He followed up with the line that really upset James: “From where I was sitting, I can see your belly, and that was right over there at the back of the room. These people down here…”
Corden’s ego clearly couldn’t take it. He got right in Stewart’s face, fuming: “Sorry, I’m waiting for the punchline. Go on? No, seriously, go on? You can see my belly… and we can all see you dying right now! Let’s go?”
He then stood there squirming, visibly uncomfortable and completely unused to being told off for his behaviour. Stewart closed it with: “If you fancy the Jonas Brothers, cover your belly.”
It was awkward by the end, with people in the room shouting for them to just get on with it. But Stewart had done the job. He called out the lack of professionalism and the visible disdain for the event, and Corden had no real answer beyond wounded pride.
Well done, Sir Patrick. Rest in peace. The world will miss you.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

David Shoebridge is a breath of fresh air. For too long the duopoly have depended on support from the rusted-on fillowers. The rustys numbers are greatly diminished as they now realise their support of the duopoly has in the recent past been misdirected to warmongers.

I was lucky enough to attend a Border Medal event one year a long time ago. As part of the evening they showed a video, asking current Test players what was their biggest achievement as a junior player. I think Matt Hayden said he scored 200 one Saturday morning. Brett Lee said that as a 14yo he got 6 wickets in an over.
They then asked Ricky Ponting. He thought for a moment. He then replied, “Nothing significant comes to mind. Although, between the age of 11 and 14, I never got out”.
🤣🤣🤣
For three years as a kid, they couldn’t get him out.
