I just got my first subscription customer!!!🥹
Billing starts 21. Oct after the trial!
It's been 6 months of hard work, and the X community has always kept my spirits up.
My key take-aways: Be kind, be humble, the real work starts after the launch.
Keep' goin!

4 things to add to your Claude video editing prompt:
1. Transcribe it and cut the pauses
Ask it to remove mistakes and repeated takes too. This saves me from restarting the whole recording every time I mess up, which happens all the time.
2. Fix the lighting
Ask it to adjust exposure and white balance so the footage looks natural and consistent across cuts.
3. Level the audio
Ask it to reduce background noise and keep your voice at a consistent volume. I recorded with just my iPhone, no mic, and a lot of background noise, but the audio still came out fine.
4. Add motion graphics, with reference images so it doesn’t look like AI slop
Give it examples of the fonts, colors, and animation style you want. I use Higgsfield for AI visuals, and HyperFrames or Remotion to build the motion graphics.

To promote Crosspublish, I started creating video content.
But it takes a lot of time, so I automated the hardest parts.
Here's a pipeline I set up in Claude that saves me hours:
1. Raw video: Record screen and webcam in Tella (or Cap).
2. Transcribe: Parakeet timestamps every word, locally on my PC.
3. Paper edit: Claude Code marks retakes and filler in a transcript.
4. Clean cut: ffmpeg cuts the video to match and trims long pauses.
5. Motion graphics: Claude Code builds captions, zooms and callouts in HyperFrames, with Remotion for brand clips.
6. Music and export: an Epidemic Sound track, with loudness levelled.
7. Content distribution: Crosspublish.
All I do is record, pick a sound track and review.
The rest runs on its own.

Building an MCP server?
Here are the most important places to list it:
- Model Context Protocol registry,
- Claude Connector registry,
- ChatGPT Plugin directory,
- Grok Marketplace and
- Cursor.
My LinkedIn impressions are up 134% over the last 90 days. 8,249 in total, on my account with almost no audience.
It really doesn't matter how strange it feels to post there; I've just started posting everywhere because I just can't predict what the algo picks up.
I believe 2 things:
1. No, we don’t start in the same place.
2. Complaining about Nr. 1 will not help.

Building on the LinkedIn API has been the most discouraging part of bootstrapping Crosspublish.
I submitted the access request months ago.
It's still on step 1 of 3.
My Grok Bot video passed 10k views within 2 weeks.
405 hours watched
+34 subscribers
€278 in ad revenue
Most of it came in the first week.
Sharing again in case it helps anyone (see comments)

Resharing bc everyone's bookmarking. :)
Replying to @thesamparr @levelsio
@thesamparr here's the editing workflow ( probably not 1:1 what levels has) but it does the same stuff: transcribe, cut, etc.
It also adds motion graphics in the right spots using remotion and higgsfield

The Grok & Grok Bot marketplaces will be a major distribution channel for people building MCPs
Grok marketplace is still locked, and Grok Bot is still relatively new.
So many people are talking about Grok, and there's a good chance to make use of the momentum when the marketplace finally opens up.
If your tool does something an agent can't, submit it.

Comparing Sonnet vs. Opus vs. Astra for video editing.
Findings:
- Although Opus 5.5 is more expensive than Sonnet 5.5 the quality of the output was nearly identical.
- Only GPT Astra put the 3 bullets on the side I pointed to.
- For all 3 the assets & effects look cheap without a good skill.
Next step: Make some skills to create better visuals.

It was great to have a moat on the job market before AI democratized coding.
But there’s no point in being stuck in the past. Time to move forward and learn other skills.
