May & Baker 1 Lymore Gardens 3
Back-to-back defeats. Chances to score not taken and defensively not good enough. We need to regroup, take responsibility and come back stronger.
Full Time: Enfield Borough 2 - May & Baker EC 1
Simply not good enough. Too many players didn't perform on the day and Enfield deserved the 3 points.
We need a massive reaction on Tuesday night when we're back at the fortress.
Despite resting many regulars, the overall performance was positive, especially in the first half. However, we conceded 3 cheap goals and Hoddesdon punished us.
Special mention to our three u18s who did us proud. One of whom scored.
Good luck to Hoddesdon in the next round.
A game of two halves. Started the game sloppy, turning the ball over far too easily, but we showed great character in the second half to turn the game around and secure the 3 points.
On to Tuesday's cup game away to Hoddesdon.
Heartbreak for May & Baker as we're knocked out of the FA Vase on penalties against a strong step 5 team. We had the chances to win the game in 90 mins but didn't take them despite a dominant second half performance. Good luck to St Neots in the next round.
A disappointing performance from May & Baker last night brings our unbeaten run to an end. Thankfully, we have the opportunity to show our character and bounce back on Saturday, at home v Rayleigh.

There is just 1 team left at Steps 1-6 that has not conceded a League goal and that is..
@CullyRangers_FC in the @swpleague East (played 3 so far). Will they be the team to set the best mark this season for longest to go without conceding from the season start?
@TCFC_Official finally conceded in the 93rd minute of their 5th match in the @NL_Enterprise South and are top of that table with 450 minutes.
@Knowle_FC set the best total at Step 5 - 416 minutes before conceding. (@utdcos PS)
@MayBakers are the current leaders at Step 6 going 370 minutes in the @ThurlowNunnL D1S.
