New Endeavour chair Tim Poole knew that Mathieson had voted against the rem report today when he made these comments defending Mathieson's man on the board, Peter Hardy: nitter.cf/MayneReport/status/211…
The mixed message of Bruce Mathieson junior on Endeavour CEO Jayne Hrdlicka:
“We continue even now to reward existing executives for underperformance … all at the expense of the shareholder."
"This is not a vote against Jayne at all.”
Whining Star Entertainment CEO Bruce Mathieson junior has taken time out from his day job to almost cause a rem strike at Endeavour as he sounds off, yet again: theaustralian.com.au/busines…
And that's a wrap for October. Managed 70 AGMs for the month vs 55 last year.
Up to 220 for the year so far. Here's the rundown at the halfway point of the main AGM season:

A very funny finish from Gillon McLachlan at today’s Tabcorp AGM regarding his spectacularly unsuccessful investments in many race horses.
It's taken all day to catch up with the answers, but this 55 minute Tabcorp AGM this morning with Gill and chair Brett was fun. They were very solid. There were no protests votes and they commendably delivered headcount poll data again. Here's the wrap:

Tabcorp chair Brett Chenoweth confirmed Barrenjoey is retained on the Betmakers acquisition but offered a straight bat on The AFR’s Foxtel acquisition report. He commended me for reading the paper, when buying time coming up with an answer.
Tabcorp CEO Gillon McLachlan is expected to punt through his Tabcorp account, not a competitor, and it was the Victorian gambling regulator who made him sell his stake in Dabble to his brother.

No votes metric protests at today's Tabcorp AGM and kudos to them for once again publishing the head count data. Can't believe 1008 shareholders went to the trouble of voting against Gill's LTI grant when he's doing a great job: announcements.asx.com.au/asx…

Lobbed these 5 written questions at today's 50 minute Reece (REH) virtual AGM. Executive chair Peter Wilson gave good detailed answers. Market cap is $10.7b. They copped a 34.4% rem strike and commendably disclosed the head count data. Here's the wrap:

Given this Charter Hall pay brawl with the proxy advisers, pleased that this is the year they've sensibly opted for a hybrid AGM where you don't have to fly to Sydney to participate live: afr.com/chanticleer/a-fight-…
Reece chair Peter Wilson appreciated the compliment re not rem voting when they could have. Then co sec Chantelle Duffy provided an excellent summary of the rem proxy adviser recommendations. Next time a chair says they’re confidential, show them this.
Sounds like there isn’t a single union member on the Reece payroll. Does that partly explain their success?

Locals reported multiple pillars of smoke rising from the refinery complex.
Shares in 4D Medical crashed 25% today. Here's an updated account of the company's extraordinary AGM on Wednesday where 5 pay-related resolutions were overwhelmingly defeated: maynereport.com/articles/202…
86yo Reece Emeritus Chair Alan Wilson does attend most board meetings but his son, executive chair Peter Wilson, reckons he doesn’t say much and “he really is an observer”. Alan loves visiting stores and has just been on a week long golf trip. Kudos for such openness in this answer.
Case closed on Gavin Street. Fair enough to classify him as an independent director after this exchange at today’s Reece AGM. It’s a business relationship and he’s never visited a Wilson family home.
Kudos to Reece for delivering head count data in these poll results. The copped another rem strike after 2 of the 4 proxy advisers recommended against and the Wilsons couldn't vote their 70% stake: announcements.asx.com.au/asx…
