If anyone had any doubt Sex Matters Org was nothing more than a Transphobic hate group trying to hide under a cloak of a respectability as a charitable organisation, doubt no more. They are championing the vile Dennis Noel Kavanagh in court as they try to stop the Conversation Practice Bill from going through. How utterly sickening.

Or this truly grotesque comment. Wearing a suit doesn't make his look any less like human garbage.

As a taxpaying woman who is childfree by choice I feel extremely happy that people who want kids and can't have them can access IVF on the NHS at sn estimated annual cost of £68m. Because I pay taxes towards providing healthcare for everyone, not just me.
As a woman who had half a breast removed last year because of cancer, I find this extremely sad. Why is the NHS funding the removal of healthy breasts - instead of understanding and addressing women’s distress. Link below 👇

_Causing serious alarm or distress which has a substantial adverse effect on usual day to day activities" is not IMO a "low" level of harm. It's substantial harm as indicated by the word substantial.
“For trans-identifying children this will be a slow-motion disaster… Their parents are the only people who stand between them and ideas that… put them on the path to irreversible physical harm and lifelong medicalisation.” @HJoyceGender thehelenjoyce.com/p/terf-isl…

The EHRC has the power to write these letters about disability accessibility, but chooses only to enforce transphobia by pretending a service segregated by gender must be a single sex service. There is no prohibition on running services segregated by gender rather than sex.

The EHRC wrote to @cityoflondon to tell it to withdraw the policy after @KemiBadenoch asked members of the public to send in examples of bad policies. It quietly withdrew the policy but kept on with the “trans inclusion” approach at the ponds. Next week the High Court will hear our case.

Kinda crazy that they'll sometimes just come out and say the shit they normally only refer to euphemistically. As I said before this shit stain opened her abusive fucking mouth again:
“If my husband takes my phone away from me because he doesn’t want me contacting people, that’s coercive control. If I do that to my child, that maybe responsible parenting” Well said @HJoyceGender! #BinTheBill

My entire adult life has been defined by the fallout of the financial crash and the nearly 20 years of austerity that followed, and you're telling me THOSE were the salad days???

I cannot conceive of hating a demographic of people so deeply that you would rather remain untreated - even outside a hospital context, where lack of treatment by may well mean death - than consent to being touched by a member of that demographic.
Meanwhile, the BBC runs articles like this - which read more like activism than journalism. Nobody should abuse or assault ambulance staff. That is completely unacceptable. But this article presents patients refusing care as prejudice. Without acknowledging a crucial fact: that the paramedic is male. Neither does it acknowledge that some women may have legitimate reasons for refusing care from a male paramedic - regardless of how he identifies - including previous experiences of sexual violence, religious beliefs or a desire for single-sex care. Good journalism should be able to reflect both positions: that no healthcare worker should face abuse - and that female patients have legitimate sex-based privacy and dignity concerns. The BBC has too often fallen short of its duty of due impartiality on this issue. And by presenting one perspective while overlooking legitimate competing rights and interests, it has helped embed an ideology rather than critically examining it.

All of you replying here are grandstanding because your personal beliefs have never been tested in reality - I guarantee if you were seriously injured tomorrow and a trans woman showed up as a paramedic, not a single one of you would choose to refuse treatment and suffer instead.

Every reply to this is from a someone grandstanding on the internet, because they know saying things on here doesn't mean anything. I absolutely guarantee that if they broke their legs tomorrow, called 999 and a trans woman showed up, they would certainly accept the help.

Fuck man, if they broke their legs tomorrow out in public, and a trans woman stopped to help them while waiting on the ambulance? I bet they'd accept that too. Hell, *I'd* help them, because I'm not a deranged maniac who dehumanises people they don't like.

Patients SPAT at her --because she was trans-- when she tried to help them, and you expect anyone to buy your laundering here? What should the article have said? "Brave women repel filthy pervert with the power of spittle"? Which, I mean, that is probably what you want.

This is all so bizarre. The users voted for it to be trans inclusive which should be enough to put this shit to bed but no, a bunch of radicalised Gen X women have an axe to grind and they’re weaponising the law to do it. It’s disgusting.
Today, the High Court has refused Good Law Project permission to intervene in a legal challenge against trans inclusion at Hampstead Ponds. We are pleased that the trans advocacy group TransLucent has been successful in its application to intervene. goodlaw.social/1jo6

When the Tories have a large majority but are unpopular, they claim a continued mandate and push through what they want. When Labour have the same, they want an election to 'renew' the mandate at risk of losing entirely. This is one reason why nothing good ever gets done.
May election feeling likelier and likelier to me.

I don't disagree that the first book is YA in styling, but this synopsis could be from any one of a number of social study sci-fis by major authors that I bet pseudo-intellectuals like this think are great. Like - have the people laughing at Nero's name ever read Dune?

Pretty embarrassing and damning response to the evidence @MForstater (@SexMattersOrg) provided in the Sandie Peggie tribunal. As we’ve always said: Anti-trans ideology and arguments rely heavily on anecdote, opinion and misinformation over hard evidence, as demonstrated here.

Americans are immune to propoganda, they just on average think 21% of Americans are trans and 27% are Muslim for no real reason
I never want to hear about how Americans are propagandized again. We learn about the founding fathers' slaves in middle school, meanwhile grown ass adults in China think Mao was under democratic constraints somehow.

LGBT+ folks have been saying for years that the gender critical movement has not only been captured by the far-right, it *is* now inarguably far-right. Once one minority has been effectively dehumanised, it’s inevitable others will be too. I don’t know why you seem surprised.
The movement I spend 8 years of my life helping to buid got captured by the far right. And I'm not bitter, I'm pissed off. And calling pissed off women 'bitter' is misogyny.

Y'all don't understand how much damage us trans folks have tanked for almost everyone else the last like 4 years. It's been us and immigrants just taking the full blast of the culture war every day. And now you call us selfish for asking for the same rights we had 2 years ago?
you can't expect, after two years of being used as scapegoats for just about everything, trans voters not to object to that, they have to be respected as coalitions members and their concerns taken seriously

A scandal??? Back in 2022, based on your reporting @hannahsbee, @PogustGoodhead predicted they would get "1000 familied" to sue the Tavistock. That was also reported @thetimes. Yet, it's 2026 now, and the number has turned out to be zero. When does the shame kick in, Hannah?
🚨Hilary Cass has called for an independent inquiry into how Brighton GPs were allowed to prescribe cross-sex hormones to children as young as 12.“There urgently needs to be an investigation of why every system that should have protected children, young people, and indeed young adults has failed,” she told me. The employment tribunal between Dr Sarah Redvers and NHS Sussex has highlighted how regulators and the NHS collectively failed to stop prescribing of puberty blockers and hormones against national guidelines - for years - and how instead the person raising concerns was accused of transphobia and herself investigated. Dr Redvers sat down with me for her only newspaper interview about her treatment in a scandal which, Cass now says, “dwarfs” that of the Tavistock’s GIDS. Me for the Sunday Times… thetimes.com/article/cfde7b4…
