Big Breaking 🚨 BOGUS VOTING, INTIMIDATION IN AAP-RULED PUNJAB - CJP, WHEN ARE YOU RUSHING TO “SAVE DEMOCRACY”? The findings are damning: nomination papers snatched, torn or destroyed, opposition candidates allegedly assaulted, detained or threatened, candidates forcibly prevented from contesting, and serious evidence of bogus/multiple voting and intimidation. The Court has ordered fresh elections in 50 wards - 28 in Patiala and 22 in Moga. This is @AamAadmiParty -ruled Punjab. So @Cockroachisback , @abhijeet_dipke , @SauravDassss @AshutoshRanka bags packed yet? When does the “Save Democracy” brigade land in Punjab? Or does “democracy in danger” suddenly go on silent mode when AAP is in power?

Media, this is your job. Report it. Videos show Congress workers surrounding and assaulting on-duty Delhi Police jawans during the protest — slaps, kicks, a mob on men in uniform. Delhi Police have already faced this once during the CJP violence. Stone-pelting, chased jawans, FIRs. If a cop raises a lathi, you run it for days. When the uniform is kicked on camera, the silence is deafening. Real news does not wait for a press release from the party office.

PM Modi has always been a student at heart! PM Modi reflects on his school days in Vadnagar, sharing that his childhood eagerness to learn has stayed with him his entire life. He even prayed today that his thirst for knowledge never fades, noting that the more he learns, the more his ability to serve the country grows. #25YearsOfSeva

“He could have met them.” He could also have held court on the road because a crowd arrived without a slot. That is not propriety. That is barbarities with a press note. ECI offered the officer. They wanted the cameras.
I wonder what stopped Gyanesh Kumar from coming out and meeting the MPs even if the appointment was not sought. Gyanesh Kumar has constitutional immunity but he is not above constitutional propriety. He could have met the MPs.

Rahul Gandhi is not saving democracy. He is trying to spread anarchy. The Election Commission’s press note of 6 October is clear. Till 4 pm, no party had sought a meeting. Around 4 pm, Delhi Police informed the Commission that a delegation led by Rahul Gandhi wanted to submit a memorandum. The demand that reached ECI was for 240 MPs, at Parliament House Annexe, not at Nirvachan Sadan. Protocol, set in 2025 and followed by every party, is simple: authorised representative, mutually fixed time, meeting inside the Commission. A crowd at another building is not a meeting. It is an attempt to corner the Commission. ECI still offered something unprecedented: its senior-most serving officer would come and receive the memorandum. Even that was rejected. Intention was never to meet the Election Commissioners. Intention was spectacle. A defeated, desperate opposition that cannot win public trust has chosen anarchy over process.

Glad to see Gen Z recognising its real heroes. 🇮🇳 Capt. Smit Machchhar’s courage didn’t just save lives - it inspired young India. And now, Gen Z has a heartfelt message for the brave Captain who made the nation proud. ❤️

Finally something good to read this morning. The Economist on how India actually saved its wildlife. Tigers nearly doubled to 3,700, lions expanding in Gujarat, zero rhino poaching in Assam, cheetahs back after 70 years. Richer countries lost theirs. We kept going. PM Modi treating this as a mission, not a slogan, is a big part of why. economist.com/asia/2026/10/0…

Economics meets Sunlight... 🌞📈 Economics textbooks may need an urgent update after this one. 😂 Jitendra Chouksey has somehow brought “Suraj ki roshni” into a GDP argument. At this rate, next quarter’s growth numbers might require checking the weather forecast first. 🌞 This ecosystem has a remarkable talent: wear an economist hat, invent a bizarre analogy, deliver it with absolute confidence - and hope nobody asks where the economics disappeared. And Vijay Dahiya, if you actually moderated and brought this intellectual masterpiece to us… Humanity will not forgive you, Dahiya. 😂

What a moment of pride for every Indian. 🇮🇳❤️ Speaking to an injured Captain Smit Machchhar, PM @narendramodi tells him that his courage has enabled every citizen to say with pride to the world - 'Hindustanis are life-savers, not life-takers.' Smit risked his own life so that others could live. And through that one extraordinary act of courage, he gave India something beyond heroism - a powerful answer about who we are as a people. A wounded Captain on a hospital bed, but a nation standing taller because of him.

DIPKE’S TRANSPARENCY TEST - ONLY FOR OTHERS? @abhijeet_dipke and @Cockroachisback demand transparency from the Election Commission at every turn. But the moment a reporter asks Dipke about CJP’s own source of funding, the transparency warrior gets visibly irritated and dodges the question. So institutions must answer CJP, but CJP needn’t answer anyone? Transparency can’t be a one-way interrogation.

CJP: Champions of Convenient Justice Outrage in Assam, radio silence in @AamAadmiParty - ruled Punjab when female students face a police lathi-charge at the hands of Male officers at LPU. For @Cockroachisback , apparently “justice” depends on who runs the government.

Sardesai , “Interesting” is not evidence. Tomorrow some accused can say Sardesai gave him a supari — no tape, no file, no date that holds — and by your standard we must run it as news. You ran “INTERESTING” on Jiji Thomson as if he walked in clean. He was MD, Kerala Civil Supplies, in the Karunakaran UDF palmolein import — named with the CM. The Left called it a UDF scam. Your UDF then tried to pull the case back. Chandy still made him Chief Secretary. Now a ten-year-old flight story with no paper is gospel. The file your party wanted buried is inconvenient. That is not a source. That is an old accused with a new camera.

Shockers from Telangana which media won’t tell you. A 75-year old woman killed by a group of unidentified assailants and loot her off her gold and other belongings. This is the situation of elderlies living in Congress ruled states, but won't see a whimper of this in national media because the main focus is always on the BJP ruled states. There's a series of recent murders in Hyderabad involving knives and sickles. Total wreckage of Law and order in Telangana and Rahul Gandhi is busy doing self-promotion spreading lies! Also, in another news a 11-year old girl gets sexually harassed by a man in Hyderabad. Imagine the outrage had it happened in any of the BJP ruled states. Did you see any news agency reporting the lawlessness of Congress ruled states?

Fact Check, Mr @abhijeet_dipke — the dude thrown out of a US university. You say BJP won Haryana, Maharashtra and Delhi with record margins after Gyanesh Kumar became CEC. Dates don’t lie. Gyanesh Kumar took charge as CEC on 19 February 2025. Haryana: October 2024 Maharashtra: November 2024 Delhi: polling 5 Feb, results 8 Feb 2025 All three elections were over before he became CEC. Illiterate take. Next.

Ritika Your “unprecedented rupture” package is a one-sided reading of internal notes. The Election Commission has answered it on record today. Read ECI PN dated 23.09.2026 (screenshot attached). What ECI actually said: 1. Written notes, observations and technical suggestions are standard checks inside a multi-member constitutional body. They are not proof that the Commission was “hijacked”. 2. Queries raised at the draft stage are normal administrative practice. Differing views before a final decision are how the institution is supposed to work. 3. Highlighting 14 internal notes over 10 months, while ignoring the much larger body of approvals, decisions and instructions, “give only one part of the picture.” 4. In the past year the full Commission took numerous decisions, issued instructions, introduced around 40 new initiatives and conducted SIR. ECI says all of these were unanimous decisions of the full Commission. 5. In this same period the Commission conducted major elections in Bihar, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Assam and West Bengal. 6. ECINet operates under data-security protocols. Additions and deletions are done by statutory officers — EROs and DEOs — under law. That is the opposite of “Delhi secretly deleting India”. 7. Official orders of the Commission carry legal sanction under the 2023 Act. So the headline “kept in the dark / illegal / rupture” is the spin. The Commission’s position is: inputs were raised, deliberation happened, final decisions were unanimous. Now the specific claims. “13 crore names struck off” That figure is from draft rolls in an ongoing clean-up. Draft deletion is not the same as 13 crore living citizens permanently thrown out of the republic. Dead, shifted and duplicate entries are part of every intensive revision. Without a reason-wise breakup, the number is a political slogan, not a finding. Form 6 “illegal” That is one commissioner’s opinion, not a court judgment. Calling a form change “illegal” in an internal note does not make it a declared fraud. SIR itself has been defended by the Commission as being within its statutory mandate. West Bengal appeals ECI has told the Supreme Court that 38.31 lakh appeals are pending in Bengal: 22.21 lakh seeking inclusion, 16.10 lakh seeking deletion. The report never proves who filed what, on whose authority, or that the pattern was partisan. In the 49 seats where SIR deletions exceeded the victory margin, 26 went to BJP and 21 to TMC. That split does not prove a one-way theft of the roll. “Centralised database / officers locked out” An EC recording that some state officers “don’t have proper access” is an IT/process complaint. It is not automatic proof that statutory powers of CEOs, DEOs and EROs were abolished. ECI’s press note restates those statutory powers. Letter to the Cabinet Secretary If two Commissioners flagged a work-allocation/IT-oversight issue, that is internal check-and-balance. Your own story then records that the disputed arrangement did not stand. That is the opposite of a captured Commission with no correction. Law on how the Commission decides T.N. Seshan v. Union of India (1995): the CEC does not make the other two ornamental. The 2023 Act, Section 18: business shall as far as possible be transacted unanimously; if they differ, majority decides. Internal notes + unanimous final orders is how that statute is supposed to look. It is not a constitutional breakdown. 1 more thing the investigation does not do: it never tells the reader how many matters in those 10 months were decided with no objection at all. Without that denominator, “14 times” is a numerator looking for a panic. ECI also notes that questionnaires to the Commission went unanswered in your telling. “Without their knowledge” is the objectors’ description. It is not an independently established finding that every order was issued behind their back. Attach the press note. Let readers compare your front page with the Commission’s own 8 points.
The Election Commission of India is under fire like never before. The SIR has struck 13 crore names off draft rolls, putting the EC at the centre of intense public debate over its role in deciding who gets to vote — and who doesn’t. HOWEVER, what nobody knew: through that same period, some of the sharpest questions were being asked from inside. Out today, after months of work. Our #ExpressInvestigation 🧵 (1/10)

When mockery outruns the facts... Dhruv Rathee mocked PM @narendramodi ’s teacher over how close they supposedly look in age. A basic check punctures the insinuation. HC Patel was born in March 1941, PM Modi in September 1950 - a gap of roughly 9½ years. Patel says he taught Modi in Classes 10–11 during 1965–67. A young teacher teaching a teenager. Nothing unusual. Not everything needs to be mocked for clicks. Sometimes the facts are far less dramatic than the ecosystem would like.

Totally biased reporting from a rabid Modi hater. Here are the facts: Indian institutions in the QS World University Rankings rose from 11 (2015) to 54 in the 2026 edition (4th-most represented country), with IIT Delhi at 123, IIT Bombay 129 and IIT Madras jumping to 180. THE 2026 lists India as the second-most represented country after the US. Both public flagships (IITs, IISc, DU, JNU, Anna University) and private universities (BITS, VIT, Chandigarh, Shoolini, Jindal) appear and improve. NEP 2020’s stated goals… higher GER, multidisciplinary programmes, research push - are producing visible global recognition even as execution remains uneven. Reform is messy; collapse is not the story the rankings tell, unlike that of Modi haters!

Leader of Darbari Media Mr Sardesai ji , A state dinner is not a census of what 1.4 billion people eat at home. Serving BRICS leaders khandvi, mushroom galouti, morels, millet pulao and phirni is food diplomacy, not a “fetish.” Coastal fish and Awadhi meat still exist; they just weren’t required on one official plate to prove India is real. The only thing being fetishised here is the need to turn every official menu into a culture-war prop. Guests get one curated meal. India does not vanish if it isn’t non-veg.
INTERESTING: the menu for the leaders at the BRICS dinner was ‘pure’ veg. Nothing wrong with promoting vegetarianism as long as it doesn’t become a fetish. A majority of Indians are non veg (surveys show only 20-30% are veg) and unmatched cuisine diversity is the hallmark of Bharat. Can’t have coastal food without fish and Avadhi food without meat. A true slice of India would have far more variety, both veg and non veg to enhance the experience of our esteemed guests. Agree?
