🚨 Breaking 🚨 KPRC is cleaning up after @jamestalarico. He absolutely thinks it is child abuse to not affirm your child's gender identity. That's the real story here. Oh and @GinaHinojosaTX agrees. She hasn't wanted to talk about it during campaign season.
Texas House Bill 1106 (89th Legislature, Regular Session) amends the Texas Family Code to exclude a caregiver's refusal to affirm a child's gender identity or sexual orientation from the legal definitions of child abuse and neglect.
Talarico and Hinajosa voted against House Bill 1106, and voted in favor amendment 4 proposed by Rep. Jolanda Jones that sought to classify the rejection of a child's gender identity or sexual orientation as child abuse.

A Houston mail carrier was arrested outside his own post office with school tax checks stuffed in his Range Rover.
Eurey Dewayne Smith has delivered mail for almost 14 years. Prosecutors say investigators found 12 letters in his SUV, and 11 were addressed to the Spring Branch ISD tax office.
That is just the tip of it. Federal investigators are chasing more than 220 stolen property tax checks worth over $4 million, missing from the mail since January, then altered and cashed.
Families were reporting this back in February. It took until October for anybody to get cuffed.
Texans already get crushed by property taxes. Now they have to wonder if the mail even gets the check where it's going.
The Harris County DA wanted a $1 million bond and says heavier charges are coming. If the charges hold up, throw the book at him.
We are six days from an election, and people are trusting that same mail system with their ballots. Somebody had better be watching it.

President Trump just played a TWO-MINUTE attack ad of Democrat James Talarico’s most radical views for his entire rally is Corpus Christi, Texas.
The entire place erupted into boos at the end of it.
Many people had already heard the “God is non-binary” line, but some of the others were quite shocking.
TALARICO: “Did they teach you in Sunday school that Jesus Christ himself was a radical feminist?”
“I want to acknowledge that our trans community needs abortion care too.”
“What would Jesus do if he visited the Texas legislature? I think he would tell us blessed are the trans children.”
“I always think of myself as a Christian, who hates Christianity.”
Trump let Talarico’s own words speak for themselves.
