while I agree California voting no on 40 was bad and understand people's frustration, I'm also disappointed in how little people seem to understand about why it happened - if you don't know why people vote against their best interests, you can't mobilize them to do otherwise...

I'm so sorry no shade to you, but California voted no on 40 because we are in a severe literacy crisis *and* they were running no on 40 ads on Instagram since September.
