Election Day is tomorrow. A #BlueWave is coming. And for independents, moderates, and Middle Class voters, it will not matter. You will still be politically homeless and still unable to afford what has defined your class status for generations. #ncpol briangroesser.com/podcast

25,000 downloads. Not bad for someone who podcasts for fun on the side with just a mic and no video. Thanks to all who listen!

This kind of antic is what we need out of our politics. Disagree on issues. But defacing a sign with an 🍆 and personally demeaning @ErinforNC is classless. I expect @Winn4NC to do the right thing and denounce this behavior. #ncpol

Unaffiliated voters, for the first time, are showing up at midterms. They could surpass @NCDemParty and @NCGOP if the trend continues. This is notable. But real change happens AFTER Election Day. Changing registration is the first step. Actually voting is the second. #ncpol
North Carolina Democrats continue to fall below their vote share average (-0.6 from yesterday). Republicans continue to rise but remain well below their average midterm turnout share (+0.5). No change in Unaffiliated turnout today. Raw numbers and data link below #ncpol

Almost able to get my book into @McConaughey hands last night in SD but my friend at the meet & greet wasn't allowed to pass it on. Hopefully, he will still get to read it some day. Given the message for independent voters, I know he would enjoy it. a.co/d/00xJj9eH

A week from now will be a day after Election Day. And if you are an independent, moderate, or middle class citizen, your situation will NOT improve. Just new faces repping the same two parties. Real change only happens with voter action AFTER Election Day. #ncpol

Unaffiliated voters are turning out in the midterms - something that normally does not happen. Real change happens in our politics if we become engaged AFTER Election Day. #ncpol
With Monday's data, Democrats have fallen to exactly their midterm-average cumulative turnout proportion for this point in early voting (41.0%). Republicans rose but are still well short of their average. Raw numbers and data link below #ncpol

There is a real crisis on our hands for those under the age of 40. They are increasingly unable to find jobs, afford homes, and pay off debt.

I joined The Middle American podcast to talk about why independents belong in Congress, what direct representation looks like when you answer to voters instead of party leadership, and my tax plan to let working families keep their first $105,000. We also got into how the two parties control the whole structure. Ballot access. The debate stage. The voting booth. And once you’re in Washington, which bills ever see a vote. It’s gatekeeping from start to finish, and most people never see it. 🎧 podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas… Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. Read your whole ballot. #NH02 #LiveFreeOrDie #Independent2026 #LiveFreeNH02
New episode out. Conversation with @MahrouRobbie running as an independent for US House in New Hampshire Dist. 2. We discuss his campaign and overcoming the partisan wall meant to keep independents off the debate stage and ballot. briangroesser.com/podcast

The K-shaped economy is real.
Young Americans are falling further behind. Change in median net worth by age since 2022, per the Federal Reserve: 75 and older: +37% 65–74: -4% 55–64: +3% 45–54: -6% 35–44: +5% Under 35: -23% The youngest households saw the biggest drop of any group, while the oldest saw the biggest gain

I support encouraging parents to vote. However, taking political stances on ballot issues on a rock in front of @AFMSChargers is not appropriate and likely a violation. The Amendments have been partisan in terms of support. This type of messaging should not be condoned @WCPSS

This is the K-shaped economy that I discuss in Chapter 1 of my new book. a.co/d/09QjGyhG
"74% of Americans in lower income have said they struggled to pay for food, housing, medical care or daily transportation in the past year compared with 13% of upper-income adults," per NYT

There are 435 House races across the country. Only 17 are considered as toss-ups. That's 4%. Include "leans" and it's 50 - or 11%. That's it. And that's why we are so polarized and why Congress has such low ratings. We need competition in our politics.
New @CookPolitical: 19 more House ratings move in Dems' direction, including six seats from Toss Up to Lean D. Full analysis by @ercovey: cookpolitical.com/analysis/h…
