In March 2025, the Trump administration began firing 3,500 FDA and 3,000 CDC employees, many who worked in food inspection. In July 2026, food-borne illnesses were up 400%. There's a chance these things are related.

Pierre increased his shadow cabinet from 73 to 84 MPs today. Carney’s cabinet they’re shadowing is 38 MPs. Shows you how ineffectual Conservatives MPs are - it takes 2.2 Conservatives to shadow 1 Liberal. Conservatives cost taxpayers more money. @BenLobbMP @AlexRuff17
Poilievre's senior leadership team, including his deputies and House leader, remains unchanged. Including associate critics and Poilievre himself, there are 84 critics in the 120-member Conservative caucus. nationalnewswatch.com/2026/0…

Taking a floating paint chip out of the Reflecting Pool is vandalism. Smearing shit on the walls of the Capitol is patriotism. Got it.

Going from Mark Carney’s speech to Donald Trump’s press briefing was like going from an iPhone to two styrofoam cups and some string.

Here’s what we’ve learned: Trump didn’t consult Congress. He didn’t consult allies. And now, thanks to the Exxon CEO’s own words, we know he didn’t even consult the industry he claims this entire operation was designed to benefit. nitter.cf/Acyn/status/2009726761… So what does that leave? A president who launched a Congress-bypassing, sovereignty-breaking military operation on impulse, with no strategic plan, no economic framework, and no understanding of the risks the very companies involved were already warning about. And now, after wasting taxpayer money, destabilizing a region, and dragging the U.S. into a foreseeable mess, he’s trying to backfill the incompetence by pitching gangster-style oil deals and pretending it was all part of some master plan. What’s “absolutely astounding” is pretending this was anything other than chaotic, clumsy, and catastrophically self-interested. nitter.cf/Acyn/status/2009726761…

🚨BREAKING: This is horrific. It appears Rob Reiner and his wife Michele have been found murdered in their Brentwood home. Homicide defectives are investigating the death of two individuals who match their age found deceased in the home they live in. As of now, no official statement has been made. The LAPD is expected to address the situation soon. Neither Reiner nor his team have addressed the reported deaths.

Trudeau gave us dental care, some pharmacare, outperformed G7s on COVID, national suicide hotline made, banned single use plastics, the Canada Child Benefit, rid Ottawa of the convoy, MAiD, invested in science, and legalized cannabis. Leave him be. @Travisdhanraj @JustinTrudeau
