WE FINALLY HAVE A NAME FOR BOOK 5! After passing on some really good options - all because I took so long to write this one & so other authors beat us to those titles - we FINALLY have something we’re all excited about. No idea when I get to announce it, but it’s sort of news!!

Look out in coming weeks for big news on the single most intense one day of crime writing entertainment you’ll have this year: @ChilternKills on the 7th October. Featuring many of the biggest names in UK crime writing, joining together with @centrepointuk to help the homeless.

Now I’m back from my hastily rearranged holiday I can confirm that I’ll be at @BloodyScotland in person instead of on a screen! I’ll be discussing all things US of A with @mredwards @lisagraywriter & @itsdansimpson on Sat 17th Come join us For tickets: bloodyscotland.com/events/wr…

2 weeks until we re-release my 3rd #DempseyDevlin thriller #PowerPlay. Originally out at the start of Lockdown1, when bookshops, railways & airports closed & supermarkets only wanted toilet paper! It’s a book I’m proud of. I’m excited to see it get a chance in an open world.

No Way To Die - a Joe Dempsey thriller - out in hardback on 18th Nov “One of the best thrillers of recent times” “Like sitting down in front of the best action movie you’ve seen this year.” “Taut, terse, thrilling & brutal, this is one not to miss” Available for pre-order now

Now THAT’S how to end a very difficult week on a high; discovering that John Dugdale has picked #NoWayToDie for his roundup of November’s best thrillers! Described as a ‘pulsating action thriller’, I’m blown away to see my book make the Sunday Times! thetimes.co.uk/article/the-s…

Absolutely chuffed to see this from one of the best thriller writers in the business!!

Our friends at @amazon have jumped the gun & published the title & cover for my latest #JoeDempsey thriller. Which I guess means I should now do the same!! And so…NO WAY TO DIE! A Deadly Threat. A Ghost From The Past. And Time Is Running Out! Available for pre-order NOW!!

Just finished the nicest weekend in Manchester. I finished my structural edit on #Book4 on Friday and continue my trial today, so instead of me travelling home for 36hrs again, @MissVC & Joseph came to me. Closest thing to a holiday we’ve had in TWO years. It was lovely!!
