There is an unwritten rule to life that most people never get told. After every long stretch of hardship and uncertainty, a period comes where you make quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life at once. It happens all at once, and it happens because of everything you survived before it. The only requirement on your end is simple. Do not give up on yourself before that period arrives.

⚠️ This is a National Scandal! ⚠️ How is it possible that in South Africa, a law-abiding citizen CANNOT certify a copy of their ID without the original document, yet illegal foreigners who are not known by anyone can enter the country illegally, go straight to Home Affairs or its online portal, claim asylum, and be documented with zero proof of identity?! This system is fundamentally legalising lawlessness and blatantly anti South African. Why is government giving free access to international criminals and terrorists to our country and forcing us to live with them in our communities? Citizens must demand answers NOW. Share this if you agree! 🇿🇦 #PutSouthAfricansFirst

Can I pray for your Sunday? 🙏🏾 ❤️ Dear God, Thank you for the blessing of this Sunday. Thank you for your mercy that has sustained us, your grace that has carried us and your love that never fails. As we take a moment to pause from the demands of life, we turn our hearts toward you. We ask you to renew our strength, restore our peace and fill us with a faith that remains steady even when life does not go as planned. Father, we pray for every person who is quietly asking you for a sign that things will get better. You know the worries they cannot explain, the tears they hide and the dreams they are afraid to talk about because of past disappointments. Please remind them that their struggles are not the end of their story. Give them the courage to hope again and the strength to continue taking steps toward a better future. Lord, bless our work, our businesses and every honest effort we make to provide for those we love. Give opportunities to the unemployed, wisdom to those making difficult decisions and provision to families struggling to meet their needs. Where we have encountered closed doors, help us find another way forward. Teach us to be faithful with what we have while trusting you for what is still to come. We place our loved ones before you. Protect our children, strengthen those who are unwell, comfort those who are grieving and bring reconciliation where relationships have been wounded. May our homes become places of patience, kindness, laughter and understanding. As we prepare for a new week, Lord, help us leave behind the regrets, frustrations and fears that have weighed us down. Give us clear minds, willing hearts and the discipline to pursue what matters. May we walk into the coming days with confidence, knowing that we can face challenges one step at a time with your help. May this Sunday fill our hearts with gratitude, our homes with peace and our spirits with renewed hope. May the coming week bring meaningful progress, unexpected kindness and reminders that your grace is sufficient for every season of our lives. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. 🙏🏾❤️

She left her house for seven years… and came back to find strangers living in it. The Shunammite woman obeyed the word of Elisha. She left her land because of the famine. Seven long years. When she returned, her house was gone. Her fields were gone. Everything she had worked for was in someone else's hands. 😪 So she went to the king to cry for her house and her land. Now look at this. At that very moment, Gehazi was telling the king about her. She didn't arrive late. She arrived exactly on time. The king said: "Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now." (2 Kings 8:6) Not just the house. The harvest she missed too. Now listen carefully. "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…" (Joel 2:25) The God who timed her steps is timing yours. 👌 WHAT WAS TAKEN FROM YOU IS COMING BACK WITH INTEREST. ✒ © Tevin Macharia

Dear Lord, Today, make a way where I can’t see one, handle what I haven’t figured out, work through situations beyond my reach, settle what has me scratching my head, surprise me with answers I never considered and turn my biggest question marks into reasons to praise You. Give me one of those testimonies that starts with, “I don’t know how, but God did it.” In Jesus’ name, amen🙏🏽

“All thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.” — Isaiah 54:13 Heavenly Father, we place all our children into Your loving hands. Fight their battles, direct their steps, protect their lives, strengthen their faith, and establish them in Your perfect will. May they grow to fulfil their destinies and become shining lights in their generation. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let Your mercy follow them all the days of their lives, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen #Pray #PstKimeamihia

LET'S PRAY Father, establish the work of everyone reading this prayer! In the Name of Jesus, let their labour produce results and their efforts speak for them. May wisdom direct their decisions, discipline strengthen their hands, and the right opportunities locate them. They shall not work in vain! Their resources shall be well managed, their hands shall prosper, and their households shall eat the fruit of their labour. Every unfinished assignment receives strength for completion. Let their work become a testimony of Your goodness in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Today's Prayer ✝️ Forgive me, Lord, for I have sinned. Not only in my actions, but in my thoughts, my words, and the moments I chose silence over kindness. Forgive me for the times I knew better but still fell short. For the pride I held onto, the resentment I carried, and the grace I forgot to extend to others and to myself. Teach me to sit with my mistakes without running from them. Give me a heart that is soft enough to repent, yet strong enough to change. In Jesus' name, Amen.

3AM PRAYER Dear Father, we thank You for the gift of this day, for the breath in our lungs, the strength in our bodies, and the grace that has carried us through. Thank You for Your unfailing love, Your protection, Your provision, and the countless blessings we sometimes take for granted. LORD, thank You for the battles You have fought for us, even in moments when life has been difficult, Your goodness has remained constant, and Your mercy has not failed us. Father, forgive us for the times we have focused more on our challenges than on Your faithfulness. Teach us how to recognise Your goodness in both the little and the great things. May our hearts never grow tired of praising You, and may our mouths continually testify to Your love. As we start this Sunday, cover us and our families with Your peace. Renew our strength, silence every fear, and prepare us for the blessings of a new day. May Your goodness and mercy follow us wherever we go, and may we never lack a reason to give You thanks. Thank You, father for today, for yesterday, and for the beautiful things You are preparing tomorrow. All glory, honour, and praise belongs to You alone. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray Amen! 🙏🏾 #MukyalaTusimbudde

BBC News, I am a foreigner living in South Africa, and I believe your reporting is doing an injustice to this country when you highlight violence against foreigners without giving equal attention to the serious crime that fuels public frustration. As a foreigner, I refuse to pretend that crime committed by other foreigners is not a problem simply because I am one of them. My nationality does not require me to defend wrongdoing, and my empathy for foreigners does not require me to dismiss the legitimate concerns of South Africans. There are reports of foreign nationals implicated in drug trafficking, human trafficking, illegal drug laboratories and cable theft. A foreign national was also reportedly involved in running over a Crime Intelligence specialist. These incidents deserve serious scrutiny and consistent reporting, too. If BBC News can report when a foreigner is beaten to death, it should also report on crimes committed against South Africans, regardless of the perpetrator’s nationality. If you believe violence against foreigners deserves international attention, surely the victims of crimes committed by foreigners deserve that same attention. Accountability cannot be selective. Human rights apply to everyone, and so must the law. Let me be clear: beating someone to death is indefensible, and no crime justifies mob justice. But condemning mob violence must not become an excuse to avoid discussing crime, immigration enforcement and the failures that leave communities feeling unsafe. South Africans deserve safety, and foreigners who commit crimes must face the law. These positions are not contradictory. Do not use the death of one person to silence an entire country’s concerns. Report the killing, condemn the violence, and give the broader issue of crime the same seriousness. That is what fair and responsible journalism should look like.

Some dreams take longer to realise. Some come at a greater price. And some moments remind us why giving up was never an option. I have known Thulasizwe Simelane for more than 20 years. First as colleagues at SAfm Current Affairs, and later as his editor at eNCA. Through all those years, one dream remained constant: he wanted to become an attorney. It was a dream that came at a high price. Life threw storms his way, some harder than others, but Thulasizwe weathered them with the determination, resilience and grace of a true professional. He never lost sight of the destination. And so, watching him arrive at his celebration, now an admitted attorney, was a moment of immense pride and joy. I think I speak for many of our former colleagues when I say there is no one more deserving of this moment. We have watched your journey, witnessed your perseverance and celebrated your victories, both big and small. Thulasizwe, we are incredibly proud of you. I cannot wait to watch you stand in court and argue for a fairer, more just world. And, God willing, if we live long enough, perhaps one day we will even read a judgment penned by you. Now, wouldn't that be something! @andiswamakanda thank you for a beautiful day
