“Oh, it’s crazy, it’s awesome out here…a lot of very knowledgeable track fans it seems like. It’s one of those atmospheres that gets everyone involved. It’s really exciting.”

We were delighted to host the Emsley Carr Mile for the year that we did, but pleased to see it back where it belongs, the London DL.
Hopefully they arrange the flames and a banging House DJ.
Go get it Josh.
2026 will see us again offer our incredible officials their choice of either a bottle of champagne or a box of chocolates as a thank you for their expert services.
Because they’re worth it.
Entries for our 2026 race open at 9am this morning on Open Track. Let’s do it all again. Bring the Flames.
RACE DATE CONFIRMED
Following our 7th race in 2025 where we hosted The Emsley Carr and Millicent Fawcett Mile, where Megan Keith ran a Scottish Native Record, where all men in the Emsley Carr went sub-4mins, and where Evan Jager ran his last ever track race of his professional
career, we are delighted to announce the return of The Monument Mile Classic on Saturday 5th September 2026.
We are aiming to open entries this side of Christmas.
Let’s do it all again.

The American steeplechase legend announces his retirement from the sport today.
What an honour for us to have hosted his last ever track race.
All the very best to him for the next chapter.
