John Healey boasting that in their first week in govt he & Andy Burnham recognised the cost of living by capping bus fares at £2
Except you didn't. You announced you'd be capping them in January.

Not only is the government throwing billions at Ukraine that we don't have, they are giving them MORE support and aid than they are giving to their own actual British citizens. During a cost of living crisis and rising poverty this is objectively absurd

We've waited patiently for a plan to end neoliberalism. We won't wait anymore.
We need rent controls
We need a wealth tax
We need *serious* cuts to energy bills
Instead it's a few pence off gherkins & a payout which the experts say won't touch the sides on energy bills.

Ending neoliberalism is saying “let’s end neoliberalism” while continuing to impose it.
Ending the genocide is saying “Palestine protesters were right” while continuing to arrest them and arm a genocide.
Anyone falling for this is either paid or a chump.

One thing about these UN votes is that it highlights US/Israel's closest allies/puppet governments.

So while Ukraine asks for sympathy and is happy to take everyone's money for their economy and military, they vote AGAINST ending the illegal blockade on Cuba? Make it make sense
Tim Foster retweeted
This is so poor.
The Labour Government are utterly failing to meet the scale of this moment.
And all because they're committed to the status quo.
It's urgently time for change.

Given an award for journalism that led to the death of someone who has been found not to have even plagiarised. This country is so disgustingly racist.

So, every UK family is effectively having to hand over £400 to support the Zelensky regime in Ukraine.
How much do you think your average UK family would give instead, if the donations were voluntary, like a GoFundMe?

You are frighteningly obsessed with harassing a dead man who's been already cleared of the allegations that led him to take his own life. If this is all you've got, you are not a very good journalist.

No it wasn’t. You have blood on your hands and want to get a gold star for it. This story was not legitimate, was racially motivated, and turned out to be disproven with Jason Arday cleared of plagiarism. You have no shame at all and I hope the family sue you.
Replying to @jgro_the
Recognition from fellow journalists is much appreciated as this is undoubtedly a difficult and polarising story, with a tragic outcome. Many people still do not accept its legitimacy but it was an important public interest story which sparked public debate about key issues of our age timeshighereducation.com/opi…

Hannah Peaker from the @NEF explains that if you equalise capital gains tax with income tax so you tax wealth at the same rate as work, along with sorting out some of the problems with CGT, some estimates say you could raise £19.7 billion a year.

He was cleared of plagiarism. Your “investigation” was trash and you’re “very happy” to have played a key role in a man’s death by suicide.
