Ken Paxton was outspent by the GOP in a 9-to-1 margin and only received the Trump endorsement days before the primary.
He literally offered to withdraw if Cornyn did his job and at the very least suspended the parliamentarian and forced SAVE Act to a vote.
The GOP made the choice to rebuke the will of their own voters and spend 100 million on a candidate running amnesty adds in spanish.
You are literally complaining about the voters because they primaried a resentful old loser who refused to do his job.

The chances of being killed by a landmine delivered by a bear are low, but they are never zero.

The "burn down the GOP so we get a based guy in 2032" plan is dumb. Democrats won't give us the chance.
Also, if we lose Tuesday, the blame will fall on candidates like Paxton, and Cornyn and Tillis will get to say "I told you so."
@WilliamWolfe and I on Counterweight:
January, James Talarico on ICE: 'It's time to tear down this secret police force.' Now: 'No, and I never have.' Tuesday in Lubbock, his warmup speaker: 'We're gonna abolish ICE.' They cheered. Believe the first version. Early voting ends tomorrow. Texas can't afford a Marxist.

Came with the house, insurance is making me put a new roof on it even thought it’s metal and has another 10 years left on it.

Republicans in Tarrant County need to work extremely hard to turn out their voters right now.
Money talks, bullshit walks.
Every election brings new polls, headlines, and predictions.
In a free and open market, those trades bring together information from people across the country to produce a market price that updates in real time.
As new information comes in, people can change their minds. The odds change with them.
Markets tell you the odds. Voters decide the outcome.

This is what’s in store for the U.S. if Talarico and El Sayed win next week
Canada is a wealthy country full of people who feel completely broke.
And as a small business owner, I feel this constantly.
You work. You hire people. You take the risk. You pay payroll, fuel, insurance, materials, GST, income tax, carbon taxes buried throughout the supply chain, and every other fee somebody in government managed to staple onto simply trying to earn a living.
Then you walk into a grocery store and butter is nearly nine bucks.
At some point you start asking the obvious question...
Where is all of this money going?
Because Canadians are working harder, paying more, and somehow keeping less.
Families feel it. Businesses feel it. Young people trying to buy a home definitely feel it.
We keep being told how prosperous Canada is while more people are looking at their bank accounts wondering how the math stopped working.
That’s why this documentary hits home for me.
This isn’t some abstract economic debate. This is everyday life in Canada now.
