I think this whole film is a ploy to make the Ambani wedding look tasteful in retrospect

My love and hugs in advance to the few film critics from India and abroad who will get harassed to no end once their review of THAT MOVIE comes out just like how it happened for that jingoistic shit movie last year.
I hope you can log off for a few days and take care.
CRYING
With Ramayana: Rise of a Legend, a majestic epic falls victim to clunky action, eye-sore CGI, and awkward AI lip-syncing in what is, unfortunately, just a Part 1.

lol I don't think it had anything to do with Kim Jong Un. But it MIGHT have had a little something to do with the resulting Sony hack that revealed the film's producer, Scott Rudin, calling Angelina Jolie a "minimally talented spoiled brat" with a "rampaging ego." Just guessing!
Martin Scorsese reveals that he was close to doing a Cleopatra movie with Angelina Jolie as Cleopatra, but they had to cancel it because Seth Rogen made fun of Kim Jong Un, who didn't have a sense of humor.
Francesca Scorsese: I feel like you've always wanted to make a big Roman epic. You were supposed to do Cleopatra.
Martin Scorsese: And then they made fun of Kim Jong Un, remember? And he got mad and he blew up everybody at Columbia.
Francesca Scorsese: Oh, that movie. Yeah, Seth Rogen, right?
Martin Scorsese: Seth. And then they ruined Cleopatra. We were going to do it, everything was ready on the script. Angelina Jolie was going to be Cleopatra VII. I'm so mad about it. Just because Kim Jong Un didn't have a sense of humor.

What a triumph. As Peter Bogdanovich said, "there are no 'old' movies...only movies you have already seen and ones you haven't.β And this one people will see again. Embrace the fresh lunacy and Happy Halloween!
