There is no way the military command structure is in any shape ready to handle Taiwan
China expels 33 officials from the Communist Party. Purges target top military leadership
The fifth plenum of the Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee took place in Beijing.
The plenum was attended by just 279 Central Committee members — fewer than at previous meetings. Those expelled included General Zhang Youxia, General Liu Zhenli and former Xinjiang Party Secretary Ma Xingrui.
Following personnel changes in the Central Military Commission, only two of its seven regular members reportedly remain: Xi Jinping and Zhang Shengmin.
Experts cited by the BBC believe Xi Jinping is using the purges to consolidate his personal power ahead of the Communist Party Congress in 2027.
Officially, the authorities attribute the expulsions to violations of party discipline and corruption, but have provided no details.
During the first nine months of 2026, disciplinary measures affected 680,000 people within the party apparatus.
Xi Jinping has been conducting an anti-corruption campaign since 2012. According to experts, it has become a tool for combating disloyalty and strengthening control over the party and the military.
At the 2027 congress, Xi is expected to secure re-election for a fourth term.

Fleur Delacour’s arrival at the Burrow in Half-Blood Prince is framed as a test of Weasley hospitality that the family largely fails. She has already chosen Bill over a return to France, accepted a job at Gringotts, and moved into her future in-laws’ home specifically “to get to know them better before the wedding.” Yet Ginny’s repeated nickname “Phlegm,”
Hermione’s participation in the mockery and Molly’s open skepticism about the engagement create precisely the reception the post describes “Imagine leaving your family, moving into your future in-laws’ home and getting that kind of reception.”
The books never show Fleur demanding deference, they show her enduring the dismissals while still preparing for a life in England, the turning point arrives only after Greyback’s attack, until that night, the Weasleys treat Fleur’s beauty and veela heritage as evidence that her feelings cannot be genuine.
Once she sees Bill’s scars and refuses to abandon him, Molly’s attitude shifts abruptly,as the original text notes, “Fleur Delacour had to watch Bill get mauled before the Weasleys finally understood that she genuinely loved him and that says a LOT about how they saw her.” The narrative itself withholds full acceptance until she has performed visible, public devotion under extreme circumstances an expectation never placed on any pure blood British fiancée in the series.
By Deathly Hallows, Fleur’s practical loyalty is already established long before the wedding.
She participates in the Seven Potters operation, opens Shell Cottage to Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ollivander, and Griphook, and later fights at Hogwarts, none of these actions were required of a French national married into the Order, she could have remained outside the conflict. The post correctly observes that “She wasn’t British and she could’ve stayed out of the war.
She chose to help anyway,” and that “Fleur showed more loyalty to the Weasleys than some of them showed her respect.” The books reward her with survival and a stable marriage, yet they never fully revise the earlier, beautybased underestimation that made those proofs necessary in the first place.
Does anyone else think Fleur Delacour was treated ridiculously unfairly?
The more I reread the books, the more I feel like Fleur deserved so much better from the Weasleys, especially Molly and Ginny. I mean, think about it. She fell in love with Bill, chose to build a life with him in England and was even staying with his family to get to know them better before the wedding. That's a pretty big deal. And instead of making her feel welcome, Ginny calls her Phlegm, Hermione joins in on the mockery, and Molly doesn't seem particularly happy about the engagement either. Imagine leaving your family, moving into your future in-laws' home and getting that kind of reception lol.
Fleur Delacour had to watch Bill get mauled before the Weasleys finally understood that she genuinely loved him. And that says a LOT about how they saw her.
She was a Triwizard champion, worked at Gringotts, helped shelter Harry and his friends during the war, risked her life in the Seven Potters operation, and fought at Hogwarts.
She wasn’t British, and she could’ve stayed out of the war. She chose to help anyway.
Fleur didn’t need to prove her love. The Weasleys needed to stop underestimating her.
I'm not saying Fleur was perfect. She could be rude, judgemental and pretty full of herself at times. But I definately think she was one of the bravest and mlost loyal characters in the series, and people spent way too much time judging her for being beautiful, French and a little annoying to notice it.
Honestly, I think Fleur showed more loyalty to the Weasleys than some of them showed her respect. Anyone else feel this way?

Anakin saw the woke multispecies Jedi council and immediately decided to become a fascist
You should IPO in the Netherlands! Sure, the taxes are higher, but the regulations are also stricter. You'll need to fulfill diversity quotas but you also submit 50,000 pages a year of environmental impact studies. There's less capital here but also you pay $5b/yr in fines.
If you do not support the traditional, heterosexual nuclear Black family unit, you are anti-Black. If putting the women out front was a good strategy it would have worked by now. Instead the community is shit.
I wasn’t going to bring up marriage and family, but @angela_rye opened the door so I had to be honest about both why—and where—I do my work. This interaction is why it is so important to have conversations that cross political and ideological lines.

Every single mainland China-based company has ties to CCP & the Chinese military, whether they want to or not. Megaspeed isn’t the first and won’t be the last. China can steal the NVDA recipe but can never produce a 3-star Michelin restaurant. James Fishback has a simple solution for mass deportations
He says simply by doing this, we would have 10 million self-deportations within 30 days, and he’s right
“We know every single illegal alien. We know who they are. Freeze their bank accounts. Seize their debit cards and credit cards. Put a lien on whatever real estate they own. Give them 30 days to leave the country. If they do, we wire it to them. And if they don't, they're locked out of the financial system. You'll get 10 million people who will self-deport in 30 days.”
I have been saying this same thing since Trump won the election. All you have to do is make it hard for them to live here in America. Which means simply cut off their money, benefits and ability to have a bank account. If you do that, they’ll all leave
According to data about 70% of illegals use a bank in America. 86% of noncitizens use a bank in America
If we have 20 million illegals and 70% have their bank accounts shut off and seized. That’s 14 million that would likely self deport instantly

Being born in Brazil, I am incredibly ashamed of what the country and its people have become. I genuinely cannot stand 99.9% of the people there; the culture is entirely selfish and childish, and these people have no long-term thinking capability.
Looking into the real reason things went downhill so fast will radicalize you too.

Obama's one of the few in the party, maybe even the only one who can stick on message w/o sounding like he's sticking to a message created by some strategist (huge major weakness of Hillary).
You'd listen to this speech and think the delivery wasn't planned and practiced.

Unironically real. White women are BLEACHING non whites, especially blacks and natives.
Nearly half of all births from mixed raced fathers are from white mothers, without immigration it's over for ethnics.
Mudsharks get a bad rap.
Yes—they’re throwing their genes away.
But they’re also diluting the black genome—defusing it for the ticking time bomb it is.
We’re in a race war, after all, and no option should be un-tabled.
So think of Mudsharks as the “suicide bombers” of our side.
Especially given how expendable they are.
And by creating White halfbreeds out of blacks they allow us to secure a half-win.
It’s not the ideal strategy, but we don’t have the luxury to play the ideal strategy.
Sacrifice is a part of war.
And thank God it’s the low IQ mudsharks being sacrificed on our behalf.
And now that you think about it, you couldn’t ask for a better tradeoff.

The funny thing is that Dumbledore knew Lockhart was a fraud before hiring him. According to J.K. Rowling’s official backstory, Dumbledore knew two wizards whose achievements Lockhart had stolen and believed that placing him in a normal school environment would expose him as a charlatan. When Professor McGonagall questioned what students could possibly learn from such a vain, incompetent man, Dumbledore argued that even a terrible teacher could demonstrate what not to do. He also exploited Lockhart’s obsession with fame by dangling the opportunity to teach Harry Potter in front of him. There was another problem: the Defence Against the Dark Arts post had become notoriously difficult to fill because of the curse associated with it. So Dumbledore wasn’t fooled by Lockhart’s books or celebrity status; he deliberately hired him, expecting his lies to unravel.
But Dumbledore’s reasoning doesn’t completely excuse the decision. In Chamber of Secrets, Lockhart releases Cornish pixies into a classroom, fails to demonstrate basic defensive magic, and attempts to flee when Ginny is taken into the Chamber. His incompetence becomes especially dangerous when he tries to erase Harry and Ron’s memories with Ron’s damaged wand. The film adaptation preserves these key failures, making Lockhart entertaining to watch but also highlighting how little the students learn about defending themselves. Rowling’s explanation gives Dumbledore a deliberate motive, but it also raises a fair criticism: exposing a fraud is not the same as protecting children’s education. Hogwarts was facing a genuine threat that year, and practical Defence Against the Dark Arts lessons mattered. Dumbledore wanted Lockhart exposed, but the students paid the price for turning a classroom into a stage for that lesson.
*Asians beat out Blacks* = meritocracy
*Asians beat out whites* = this damn test is too easy
We were concerned that the SAT has become a less reliable measure of student preparedness for a rigorous college curriculum.
So, we commissioned a study from Johns Hopkins University. What does this study tell us about the state of higher education?
The results are shocking. thaq.co/4iLThZ0
