They told us nobody would leave. Mayor Wilson called it "super overblown." Then she waved bye to the millionaires. Here's who's waving back: Bezos to Florida. Fisher Investments to Texas. Howard Schultz to Miami. Starbucks sending 2,000 corporate jobs to Nashville. Moment to Wyoming. Soak & Sage expanding in Nashville, not here. Now NIC Global. Closing its Woodinville plant. 103 jobs. Moving to Spokane and Tennessee. Nearly 1 in 4 Washington employers say they're thinking about leaving. The 9.9% income tax doesn't even start until 2029. They're not waiting. Who's next?

My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will: 1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate. 2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority. 3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority. This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word. All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

Congresswoman Priya Jayapal has been relieved of her spot on the House Ways and Means Committee after Speaker Mike Johnson's office announced that she has been using the committee to illegally lobby funds for Democrats. "Representative Jayapal regularly moves to shift taxpayer money from the private sector to companies owned by Democrats engaging in socialist practices," read a statement from Johnson. "Her continued presence on the committee is an affront to the people who elected her." Jayapal says she'll appeal the decision. What's your response to this......??👀 MAKE THIS GO VIRAL ON X. Microsoft just offered buyouts to 60,000 employees. Olympia's big idea for this moment? A brand-new income tax. On Monday, Microsoft offered "voluntary exit" packages to about 60,000 employees, roughly a quarter of its 223,000-person global workforce. These are offers, not departures. Microsoft itself expects only 3-5% to take them, and it ties its cost-cutting to AI spending and restructuring, not to Washington's tax code. But it isn't happening in a vacuum. Microsoft filed two WARN layoff notices with the state this year: 605 Washington jobs in July, 277 more in September. That's 882. Big Tech WARN notices filed in Washington in 2026: • Amazon: 2,777 • Meta: 1,894 • Microsoft: 882 • Oracle: 834 6,387 Washington workers from four companies. In ten months. Seattle-Bellevue-Kent information-sector jobs: 127,100 in Sept. 2025. 125,800 in Sept. 2026 (BLS). And employers? In AWB's spring survey, 24% of Washington employers said they're considering moving their business out of state. 38% plan to expand in another state. Just 9% plan to expand here. Totally normal. Nothing to see here. So what's actually on your ballot? I-645 does three things: 1. Repeals the 9.9% tax on individual income over $1 million that the Legislature passed this year, before it ever takes effect in 2028. 2. Bans state AND local taxes on individual income, or "measured by" it. 3. Defines "income" in law, so calling it an "excise tax" doesn't get around the ban. "Relax, it's only millionaires." Senate Majority Leader Jamie Pedersen, the tax's chief sponsor, has said he personally favors a broader-based income tax and that down the road the Legislature could look at lowering the $1 million threshold. One Democratic state rep has said she could support extending it to households earning $250,000, at a lower rate. Funny how "just the rich" never stays just the rich. Who's paying to keep it? No on 645 has raised $12.8 million. About $11.4 million of that, roughly 89%, came from unions, per PDC filings compiled by FactHub. The Yes side: $2.21 million. Yes, the state's fiscal note says I-645 means $11.4 billion less in projected revenue through 2031. Projected. From a tax that doesn't start until 2028 and hasn't collected a dime. Washington's tech economy is not invincible. When the biggest employer in your backyard is offering exits to a quarter of its workforce, the answer is not a new tax its own sponsor is already talking about expanding. Vote YES on I-645. Ballots must be postmarked or in a drop box by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Whoopi Goldberg learned the hard way that James Woods doesn't play by "The View's" rigged rules. After Woods declined her ambush invitation, Goldberg called him an "ignorant, uninformed coward" on national television. Woods responded within the hour. "What happened to you, Whoopi?" he posted. "You used to be smart and funny. Now you're a DEI shill for wokeness. For the record, my Ph.D in political science is plenty informed. I just don't do screaming matches with five angry women at a coffee table." Goldberg has maintained radio silence since. Another point for Woods. Another embarrassment for ABC. While far left WA State leaders passed record tax increases, they failed to investigate daycares with no children receiving taxpayer funds according to The Center Square. This is despite the issue being covered heavily in media. It was reported earlier this year that Governor Ferguson’s Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) had an un-auditable $416 MILLION of taxpayer funds, according to State Auditor Pat McCarthy (D). Taxpayer funded daycare fraud is being exposed nationwide. And don't forget about the known fraud, waste, and abuse: A squandered $15 BILLION surplus, the largest tax increases and spending spree in state history in back-to-back years (SB 5167 in 2025 & SB 5998 in 2026), $1.17 BILLION in missing COVID money, $646 MILLION of unemployment money being stolen by Nigerian scammers, $340 MILLION going to non-citizens, and so much more. Imagine what these BILLIONS alone could have paid for. It's well past time for state government to be responsible and accountable with your money. UNCONSCIONABLE: Washington State's Sentencing Guidelines Commission, appointed by the Governor and Legislative Democrats, voted 7-2 to LOWER the penalties for those convicted in sex sting operations against minors, also known as "Net Nanny" Operations. Last year, WA Democrats submitted a similar policy in legislation with SB 5312. It was defeated by outrage from the public and Legislative Republicans (#tbt). We have adamantly opposed this dangerous and tone-deaf idea. Children need more protection from criminals and those seeking to do them harm, not less. #UnsafeWA #UnaccountableWA #ThrowbackThursday #waleg
