Maths twitter, help me out. Where can I get a bank of high quality resources for KS3 students who are struggling to access the curriculum. I'm not a big fan of twinkl for various reasons, but I don't know what alternatives there are...

Does anyone have a go to source for practice for your very weakest students? I'm talking those who still count on with fingers, not secure on their TTs etc

I can testify that Kathryn's baking alone is worth putting an application in. That's without even starting on her sublime teaching skills!
Thank you to @missradders for reminding me to share our job vacancy at Leeds City… closes Friday! Please ask any questions you have. tes.com/jobs/vacancy/teacher… Unrelated note but… I like to bake on Sunday and share with colleagues on a Monday… 😬🫣😜

Hello! I have been tasked with finding an alternative to Mathswatch for our lower end as they are struggling to engage with it independently at home. What are the best options? Have looked into Mathletics and Sumdog so far.

Is there an existing bank of maths resources that are aiming to be more inclusive? e.g. two way tables not just 'male/female' etc.
Starting back part time after ML tomorrow. My stomach is in knots, like the feeling of going back to school after summer hols x 1000. Any sage pieces of advice?

I'm heading in to my thirteenth year of teaching and I've been wholly inefficient in my planning for twelve years. I've written, designed, rewritten and redesigned lessons for each lesson I've taught over those years.

I should have concluded, of course, that the process has shown, at least for GCSE Maths, that teachers have been able to provide CAGs which have been honest and accurate and that’s a huge testament to everyone’s professionalism. We’ll hear no teacher bashing about this! 7/7

Replying to @BBCBreaking
@BBCBreaking @BBCNews please can you say Centre Assessed Grade rather than teacher assessed grade? The two are different. The grades passed through a lot of hands before they were submitted - it was never one teacher's decision.

BREAKING: Government #Uturn means both A levels and GCSEs will be awarded based on teacher-assessed grades. Students will receive whichever is higher: CAGs or moderated grades. #alevels2020 #GCSE2020
