Why is all seemingly working against the ANC, the media kept predicting DA shocking numbers and they are hard at work confirming them…MKP keeps getting unexpected votes? No, I wanted ANC humbled but ‘something’ doesn’t add up 🤧

My heart breaks for Cyril, the man tried. With a restored ANCWL, strengthened ANCYL…why did that fail to pull through to the votes? Cosatu remains an ally,,,why these numbers? Something doesn’t add up somewhere,,,and if IEC need to explain, they must be called to do so.

The disbandment of the Scorpions after the 2007 Polokwane elective conference was the beginning of the downfall of the ANC. At the time they were not aware the amount of corruption that would follow and remain unprosecuted. Quickly corruption filled all spheres of society and coupled with high unemployment rate and high cost of living people blamed corruption for their miseries and something was bound to give. I personally do not cry for the ANC they allowed weak leadership to take hold from 2007. Chickens coming home to roost. Ramaphosa was too slow to clean up the ANC, you can't be talking about ANC renewal for 8 years. He had goodwill and failed to use it decisively choosing instead ANC unity over country unity.

Ṋamusi ndo vouta kha NG Kerk, Faerie Glen, kha City ya Tshwane, ndi na dakalo, dakalo ḽihulwane na vhuḓifhinduleli. For me, this vote is a reminder of the sacrifices made for our freedom and the historic role the ANC has played in transforming the lives of millions of South Africans. We must never forget the victories we have achieved or take our hard-won democracy for granted. I vote with gratitude for how far we have come and a commitment to the work that still lies ahead in building better communities for all. #LGE2026 🇿🇦

They told us young people would never vote for a party of 1912. Siphi ngoku? According to this, except for our offspring, no other party is as popular amongst young people like the glorious movement 🖤💚💛 #VoteANC
EFF & ANC are tied as most supported parties among registered young voters, followed by MK & DA, while 17% either indicated they would not vote, declined to reveal their political preference or said they don't know which political party they would support ipsos.com/en-za/political-pa…

The ANC is still the only party that genuinely speaks for black South Africans, so there is no need to stop voting for it. Its failures come from corrupt leaders, sellouts and spies who have infiltrated the movement, not from the ANC itself. Dividing our votes among small parties only weakens us. What black people must do is unite behind the ANC, give it a majority, and then demand that it cleans itself - remove the corrupt, remove the sellouts and the spies, and restore honest black leadership to fix the party from within.

I am encouraged by the progress being made following intensified interventions by Johannesburg Water, with some affected systems beginning to recover. Our teams remain on the ground working to stabilise supply across the City. I urge residents to continue using water sparingly as recovery efforts continue. I remain committed to keeping residents informed and working towards restoring reliable water supply.

The first part of my morning was spent at Rhema Bible Church, worshipping alongside the congregation, our local candidates and our mayoral candidate, @LukhonaMnguni. A big thank you to the church leadership for welcoming us and allowing us to share in worship with you today. We truly appreciate the warm reception. ❤️ #WeNeedNewLeaders #LGE2026

At least Helen is now admitting that she knows they won’t get 51% - so now it’s about spreading lies, fear-mongering and deflecting their own failures on others.

I saw the DA claiming this to be their project…please be a bit more louder with your efforts. DA is here to steal, kill and destroy any positive efforts for black majority under black leadership #LeadUsMatamela

This is not an ANC defence post. It's a data post. For weeks, 30 years of measurable state building has been waved away with anecdotes, potholes and headlines. So here are the national numbers. Not just Jo'burg. The whole country. 👇🏾 Our population grew from about 40m to 63.5m. Services had to outrun that growth. They did: • Electricity for lighting: 58% → 95% of households • Piped water inside the home: 32% → 60% • Improved sanitation: 62% → 84% • Adults with no schooling: 19% → 7% • Degree holders: 649,000 → nearly 3 million • Black graduates: 188,000 → 1.7 million • About 5 million housing opportunities delivered • 26.5 million grant beneficiaries, including nearly 13 million children • Life expectancy: from about 52 at the height of AIDS to nearly 67, via the world's largest ARV programme • 8 in 10 South Africans online, nearly 2 mobile connections per person • A real economy about 85% bigger than in 1994 • 12GW+ of renewables contracted via REIPPPP, a state-designed programme that brought in private capital None of this was luck. It was built by an ANC-led state, with business at the table, out of a sanctions-era wreckage. The fatigue is real. Unemployment is real. Failing municipalities are real, and we should say so. But tiredness must not make us blind. Thirty years ago millions had no lights, no water in the yard, no access to basic healthcare. Today they do. Whoever tells you nothing changed wants you to hate your own progress. A pothole trends for three days. 5 million housing opportunities never trend at all. Both are facts. Only one gets counted. To business: this market was built here. Talking it down is not analysis. It's a short position on your own balance sheet. Lies have short legs. I'm ready for the debate. Which of these numbers do you dispute? Reply with your source. Data, not vibes. As the city of Johannesburg, we thank Minister Ntshavheni for bringing this initiative to our City and the residents of Kliptown for partnering with us. Government can lead these efforts, but lasting change requires communities to take ownership of their neighbourhoods.

📸📸 | The Minister in The Presidency Ms Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, together with Johannesburg Executive Mayor Cllr Dada Morero, lead the Love Your Street campaign in Kliptown, Soweto, mobilising communities to promote cleanliness and improve their surroundings. As the birthplace of the Freedom Charter in 1955, Kliptown holds a special place in South Africa’s history, representing the democratic ideals of equality, freedom and human dignity. The campaign advances these values through active citizenship, community participation and collective responsibility for cleaner, safer neighbourhoods. #LoveYourStreet #GovZAUpdates
