THE INVOICE OF FEAR
This Hasan execution debate has exposed something ugly in us. We keep talking about what the islamist enemy might think.
"What if they make him a martyr! What if they use the footage! What if they get angry! What if they hate us more!"
Take this from a GWOT veteran sick of hearing this shit: They already hate us.
That is the part nobody wants to say out loud because it makes the whole ritual look ridiculous. You don't negotiate a wolf out of hunger by lowering your fucking voice.
If fear of terrorist reaction changes how you carry out a lawful sentence, then they are no longer merely your enemy. They are governing you. They own you.
That is real power, isn't it? Not theirs on paper. Theirs over YOU, average American.
And this is the same weakness we carried into the Global War on Terror on your behalf. We went across the world to fight men who understood violence perfectly while we spent twenty years trying to prove to those same men that we were "nice".
Restrictive rules, endless hesitation, leaders promoted for avoiding headlines. Troops asked to close with an enemy while an entire civilization stood behind them whispering, “Be careful how this looks.”
Then we wondered why the war dragged on, and on and on. Where has this weak approach gotten us?
The military gets its people, its authority, its limits, and eventually its courage from the country that sends it. From YOU!
So here is the invoice, America:
>You wanted the sheepdog, but you were embarrassed by his teeth.
>You wanted victory, but recoiled from what victory looks like.
>You wanted the enemy defeated, but remained terrified of offending him.
>You wanted warriors strong enough to kill for you and gentle enough to never disturb your conscience.
That bill eventually came due. It was paid in deployments, amputations, and flag draped coffins. In men and women coming home older than the years they'd lived.
And now, after all of that, I still hear Americans worrying about whether a terrorist might feel inspired by watching another terrorist receive a lawful sentence.
You either think western civilization is superior to theirs or you don't.
A nation that lets its enemies decide which consequences are too frightening to show has already surrendered a piece of sovereignty to them. A big piece.
Power is the rent civilization pays to remain unmolested in a violent world. And fear is what you pay when you refuse the bill.
America, GWOT veterans are pleading with you: wake the hell up. Stop acting like men who already want you dead can be appeased by your fear. You’re not preserving peace. You’re just advertising weakness.

Bad takes everywhere on the public execution. No surprise when they come from papists, whose Pope condemned capital punishment, but Bible believers everywhere should rejoice that Romans 13 is at last being taken seriously. It's not lust for blood, Ms. Rose, but zeal for justice.
Trump admin to universities: FUUAKTA!
.@USLaborIG: "I am announcing a historic investigation into the J-1 visa fraud involving nine major American universities — Pit, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Brown, UC Davis, Caltech, Arizona State, and MIT. Subpoenas have been served; investigations are underway."
AI is not just writing papers, it’s peer reviewing them too because most reviewers are plugging your manuscript into an AI model which will come up with some reason why it needs a major revision. Keeping you stuck in a revision cycle, which can only be escaped by a rebuttal written by AI.

Stop pretending you live your life like a PE company.
Humans are irrational. You won’t invest the difference. You’ll buy something dumb with the extra $. You also have no hedge against rising shelter costs when you’re renting.

Hey @grok if I buy a house for 450k put 5% down with a 7.25% interest rate and pay the full mortgage off in 30 years what will the total cost of the mortgage be including interest cost and how much would this property be worth assuming and average rate of return for homes over 30 years.
Forget the location just give me averages.

The future of nuclear is here—and I’m incredibly excited about it.
@POTUS set an aggressive goal: get 3 small modular reactors turned on by July 4th. That meant cutting red tape and reforming government to move at the speed of industry.
The goal was 3. America delivered 4.

Republicans are keeping this incredible economic achievement a secret.
Another secret? 5.1% growth.
We haven't seen that in decades.
Oh, and historically low core inflation of 2.4%.
The economy is catching fire at an historic rate. Working class wages are on fire, growing at over 4%.
But because the GOP has no war room, message, coordinated communications strategy, or really midterm campaign of any kind, no one knows.
It's total disarray, like the midterms are a final exam Trump and Republicans forgot to study for.
So it will stay a secret as socialists march into power for no clear reason.
We've had months to turn this around. It's maddening.
It’s clear coming out of the Lindsey Clancy/red pill/repeal the 19th movement that we have a pandemic of men who don’t know how to treat or talk to women.
I’m not talking about being some beta cuck giving her everything she wants whenever she wants it. I’m talking about asserting yourself from a positive frame and providing her the stability she needs to feel emotionally safe. She doesn’t need you to agree with her, she needs to know you’ll hear her without losing control of your own emotions.
Women are inherently unstable. They are crazy. That doesn’t mean they can’t be a great [insert whatever profession here]. It means, emotionally (not intellectually or competency wise) they are different than you.
As men it is our to job to bring the stability. Her emotions and reactions should not govern yours, at all. Be honest, not avoidant. Be fearless, not scared of her reactions. Be positive, not negative. Be kind, not nice.
90% of this stupid psycho behavior gets resolved if she just feels emotionally safe with you.

Absolutely insufferable.

This is not true in the state of Massachusetts where NGRI is an acquittal. The judge has discretion. Typically there is a 40 day observation after NGRI. Then the state has to petition for a up to six month hold. And then the state has to petition yearly after that. But each petition has to be granted by a judge because it’s a civil confinement not a criminal one. On the flipside the judge can release them right away if he feels the state has not met the criteria to civilly confine them.
2/2 this is a laboratory reagent. Not for human consumption. Should not be confused with Bacteriostatic water for injection, USP.
The most heartening aspects of the Lindsey Clancy trial is women calling out her psychotic supporters AND the two female prosecutors trying to put her away forever.
