I tweeted about this over the weekend and here it is!
For context: The Android Dev Summit site just got updated this morning to let you download each talk as a .md file, complete with a transcript, code snippets, and other sources so you can point your agent at it! Give it a shot!

Fun to see web browsers still be tinkered with. This ‘tab aging → archiving’ feature is smart. Really leans into actual user behaviour.
The mobile Arc replacement you were waiting for is here. Lens: lens.maximos.work

Again, for those in the back: All great software is fast.
We’ve rebuilt the @Shopify mobile app from the ground up in native for iOS and Android 📱 The new experience brings a fresh design, smoother interactions, and Liquid Glass on iOS. It also launches faster on both platforms, with Android launch time cut by more than half.

The App Store free vs. paid charts are kinda wild. #10 free app - Temu. Makes sense. 211k ratings. A totally insane app but sure. #10 paid app - Goblin tools. wat 😑

Look for Expo Mode. We built it with Google’s new HTML-in-Canvas API. I think we’re one of the first to use it.

every product i use should just be a headless mcp, that feeds into an agent, where i never have to think about anything underneath. except for our product, of course. in our product, customers love the ui and love us very much. we're special that way.

First day at Google. Apple mug smashed itself in the sink…

Group chat software, huh? stratechery.com/2026/the-end…
Apple’s clunky TestFlight sharing and App Store deployment might be the only thing propping up the entire economy of indie app developers building small, personal apps. Once I can build, install, and share from a prompt, what happens to to-do apps, recipe managers, etc.

We’ve spent about a compact car’s worth on Meta ads, and the algorithm has finally found her customers. The Shopify ka-ching now goes off several times a day.

My three year old already believes three things: - glasses take pictures - if you need something, 3d print it - music can be called upon anywhere in the house To me, these are the new equivalents of growing up with a desktop computer in the corner. So much possibility.

Updating and deploying murdo.xyz/ through Codex on my phone because it’s all static docs on a cloudflare backend. CMSs have always sucked but now they are officially a dead class of software.
