I have just concluded a security assessment with the Minister of Defense, the IDF Chief of Staff, the Director of the ISA, the National Security Advisor, and the Commander of the IDF Central Command.
It appears that Hamas terrorists were planning a major attack aimed at murdering innocent civilians, as evidenced by the large quantities of weapons and ammunition discovered. Our brave soldiers thwarted this attack with courage and determination. I commend them for their actions and wish our wounded a speedy recovery.
I have instructed the IDF and security forces to immediately cordon off the city of Hebron and take additional security measures to prevent terrorist attacks originating from Judea and Samaria.
Our forces are operating with reinforcements to thwart terrorism and are carrying out extensive waves of arrests.
We will pursue Hamas terrorists and those who sent them, wherever they are and at all times.

IDF: Two Hamas terrorists who emerged from Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza were eliminated after one planted explosives brought from inside the hospital to target Israeli troops. Among those eliminated was Mohammed Tammous, a sniper in Hamas’ military wing who was also presented as a civil defense worker. The IDF says Hamas continues exploiting hospitals for terrorist activity and rebuilding its capabilities.

Since the beginning of July, we have recorded active Russian satellite surveillance of the Gulf states and U.S. military facilities located there. These images subsequently appear in Iran. At the same time, there is a clear correlation between Russia’s satellite imagery of these sites and Iranian strikes – both before the attacks, in preparation for them, and afterward, to assess the damage inflicted.
On July 19 and 20 alone, four air bases fell within the area of interest of Russian satellites – two in Bahrain, one in Jordan, and one in Kuwait. The purpose is clear.
