पुण्यातील रस्ते व्यवस्थापनासाठी तंत्रज्ञानाची जोड!
पुणे महानगरपालिका आणि एथर एनर्जी यांच्यात सामंजस्य करार
पुणे शहरातील रस्त्यांवरील खड्डे, रस्त्यांची दुरवस्था, रस्त्यांवरील खोदकामाचे पट्टे व गतिरोधक ओळखून दुरुस्तीच्या कामांना प्राधान्य देण्यासाठी पुणे महानगरपालिका आणि एथर एनर्जी लिमिटेड यांच्यात एक वर्षाचा सामंजस्य करार करण्यात येत आहे. एथरच्या पुण्यातील २४ हजारांहून अधिक कनेक्टेड स्कूटर्समधील तंत्रज्ञानाधारित माहितीच्या साहाय्याने रस्त्यांचे ‘आरोग्य नकाशे’ तयार करून रस्ते व्यवस्थापन व पायाभूत सुविधा नियोजन अधिक माहिती-आधारित करण्यास मदत होणार आहे. प्राप्त माहितीची प्रत्यक्ष क्षेत्रीय पाहणीद्वारे पडताळणी केली जाणार असून, ही माहिती रस्ते देखभालीसाठी पूरक ठरणार आहे.

Ward office Mohammadwadi is the most lethargic department in Pune. Their inaction of decades has brought this situation. The road department has written to the ward office who are just taking salaries but doing minus zero job emboldening the occupants of foothpaths.

Pune citizens are demanding an FIR and an Income Tax probe into alleged illegal hoardings erected on a nullah near Lavanya Hotel in the Mohammadwadi–Undri area. The demand follows the demolition of an illegal fish market at the location, with residents calling for a wider investigation into permissions, ownership details, revenue generated and possible financial irregularities linked to the hoardings. Citizens have urged the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and police to identify those responsible and examine whether the structures were erected with the necessary approvals. Residents say enforcement must go beyond removing unauthorised structures and ensure accountability for those who may have enabled or benefited from the alleged violations.
