Unsolicited scandal management advice:
At least try to sound more concerned about the substance of the dirty deed than on how it came to light.

I’ve heard reporters say that tonight is the most dramatic midterm election in a couple decades.
To me, it’s the most significant party turnaround since 1974.
From Texas to South Carolina to Ohio, voters saw life in America today and found it difficult and disappointing.
Congratulations to tonight’s successful Democrats. You've been given the right to lead, and it's now up to you to prove that you deserve it. #Midterms2026 🗳️

AP projects Charlene Fite as the winner in state House District 24, in Crawford and Washington counties.
Early votes in NWA run heavily D -- even more than usual. Still, Rep. Diana G. Worthen, D-Springdale, has a 1,010 vote lead in early and absentee voting out of 2,528 votes cast
Early and Absentee voting in Washington County has D Jamie Atkinson ahead of incumbent state House R Rep. Steve Unger, 3,601 to 2,502. We'll see if the Rs waited until Election Day.

As I was saying a year ago....
For any judge thinking about taking senior status (or retiring): If you want your seat to be filled, you should make your decision soon.
It would be a folly to take for granted that Republicans will retain control of the Senate after the 2026 elections. And if Dems take control for Trump’s last two years, the Senate will confirm very few if any judicial nominees.

AP exec editor @juliepace's great advice for tonight: “Be patient and prioritize facts over speculation. Votes can take time to count, and the absence of an immediate answer doesn’t mean something is wrong. At AP, we’ve been counting votes and reporting election results for more than 175 years. A big lesson from all that experience is that getting it right matters more than getting it first.” cnn.com/newsletters/reliable…

What? "Thank you soooo much for this barrel you're trying to put me over?"
Kushner "told Zelensky that he should pause the strikes because he and U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff were dedicating a lot of time, energy, and jet fuel to mediating with Moscow...A 30-day pause on refineries would be a way for Ukraine to show gratitude"
