“Immigrants built NY & made our state stronger.” Glad you FINALLY got the memo. Shame you spent yrs trying to turn Nassau cops into ICE agents & immigrant fam’s into political props. Immigrants dont need election-season appreciation. We need leaders to respect NYers year-round.
Immigrants built New York and made our state stronger. No matter your background, New Yorkers want the same things: good-paying jobs, lower taxes, lower utility bills, and safer communities. I delivered in Nassau County, and I can deliver for New York.

While we’re on the subj of #Ticketmaster… they’ve made it harder & harder for working-class NYers & immigrant families to afford the concerts + games they ❤️. $1,000 for a Knicks ticket? Fighting fans over refunds? Enough. NYs biggest events shouldnt be reserved for the wealthy.

Seeking refuge from persecution, violence, or oppression is not as a last resort, but a fundamental human right. The very origin story of Islam is deeply rooted in the refugee experience. @read_naveed @HIASrefugees @thenyic @ICNY @workerscircle @jewishaction @truahrabbis

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo should be alive today. Another life taken by a cruel, violent immigration enforcement system that operates with impunity. We demand justice & accountability. No one should die at the hands of ICE. Every person deserves dignity & due process. Abolish ICE. – at Queens, NY

Thank you @thenyic Education Collaborative for organizing today's Rally to Protect our Kids! We need inter-agency rules of the road to make sure students & families are safe going to school, on a yellow bus, train or walking. All adults interacting with kids must keep them safe.
