Ending the $4B U.S. yearly in foreign aid to Israel is a win-win! - Israel becomes more independent both financially and militarily -In case of a future anti-Israel U.S. administration Israel will have more security independence and can be blackmailed less - U.S. saves $4B (even though it all went back to U.S. military contractors to begin with) - The Israel haters will need to find another excuse to hate on Israel other than that "Israel wouldn't exist without U.S. aid money!"

This is probably the first thing Trump has done that the left, right and Israel all agree is a good idea (though for different reasons).
Trump: I reached an agreement with Israel a few months ago to halt the $4 billion in annual aid.

My lifelong Democrat mother who grew up in a Jewish neighborhood in Detroit would be aghast at what's happened to her home state if she were still here. Good luck, Michigan.

When the media only reports what the terrorist organization says, and not those who they brutally massacred, no wonder the world is sympathetic to Hamas. Why use data from a democratic government accountable to its people when you can get more dramatic numbers from dictators?
NEW: A peer-reviewed study by Tatiana Glezer has uncovered systematic bias in mainstream media casualty reporting in Gaza. Analyzing @Guardian, @BBC, @nytimes, and others, the study found journalists used Hamas-run Gaza Ministry of Health figures in 100% of articles, while Israeli data appeared in just 3%. 🧵

Truth that the world doesn't care about...
Victor Davis Hanson with the uncomfortable truth 🔥 “They ethnically cleansed almost a million Jews from Arab countries between 1948–1973. No one talks about that. But only the Palestinians still claim ‘refugee’ status 78 years later. When Poland was recreated, 12 million Germans walked back to Germany. Two million died. You don’t see Germans today waving keys to apartments in Danzig screaming ‘I’m a refugee.’ Cypriots lost 40% of their land to Turkey. Jews from Damascus, Cairo, Baghdad, the Gulf — kicked out, property stolen. None of them still play the eternal refugee card. Israel left Gaza in 2005 with hundreds of millions in greenhouses and infrastructure. What did they do? Looted it. Took $40–50 billion in aid… and built rockets and 500 miles of tunnels instead of a real state. We’re supposed to feel sorry for people who chose this path?” History is not a buffet. You don’t get to pick only the victimhood that serves you. 🇮🇱

Gaza's story of the year remains ignored: Hamas & PIJ have admitted themselves that FIFTY-NINE of their combatants used the press vest as cover. Once, any Israeli claim that a "journalist" was a combatant was dismissed as propaganda. Now dozens of confirmed cases—still ignored.

One of the largest countries on earth has an election that ends with the losing candidate fleeing the country and his party leaders arrested. Nobody cares. A much smaller country has an election a few days later that is run more or less flawlessly, ends in deadlock, and suddenly there are a billion experts on its politics weighing in as if the world’s future depends on it. Something is deeply wrong.

Gaza's Ministry of Health recently released data demolishing the "famine" claim. Non-violent deaths in 2025 are nearly the same as pre-war with no apparent excess malnutrition deaths. This should be welcome news but is ignored as it would mean so many "experts" were so wrong.

I feel lucky to be Israeli. Out of 14m Palestinians in the Middle East, Arab Israelis are the *only* ones that get a vote. Palestinians in West Bank haven't voted since 2006, stuck under a 90 year old dictator. Lebanese Palestinians don't even get the citizenship. Jordanian Palestinians have a.........king. You may not like this, but the best thing to happen to Palestinians is to live inside Israel. Eat your heart out.
Wonder what the clown, @nasdaily is feeling right now after Zionists have shed their mask about what they actually feel about "Arab Israelis" 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Last night, the exit polls told one story: Netanyahu had lost, but it wasn’t clear who on the other side had won. This morning, the results are telling another. Netanyahu hasn’t won yet, but the change bloc has clearly lost. I’ve covered politics since the start of the century. I have never seen a camp organize for an election as impeccably, as efficiently and as energetically as the change bloc did. It signed model surplus-vote agreements, so that no leftover votes would go to waste, and ran an unprecedented operation flying Israelis home from abroad to vote. And by the actual count, it ended up with more or less the same number of seats as in the last election. Demography beat energy, and the message also proved flawed and unsuccessful. The public wasn’t convinced that the war had been a total victory, as Netanyahu claimed, but it also refused to buy the opposition’s claim that it was a total failure. It was repelled by Haredi draft-dodging, but didn’t think the solution was a minority government propped up by draft refusers and anti-Zionists. It was disgusted when ultra-Orthodox protesters chanted “We do not believe in the rule of the Zionists,” but it was just as shocked when “Biladi, Biladi,” the Palestinian national anthem, was sung at the Joint List’s headquarters last night. Netanyahu’s position changed completely between the release of the exit polls and the arrival of the real results. Last night it seemed clear that Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, a Likud loyalist, would be ousted and that, one way or another, Gadi Eisenkot, the former IDF chief of staff, would form a minority government. Now, by the criteria Eisenkot himself set, he has lost the legitimacy to form such a government. He promised he wouldn’t rely on the Arab parties’ votes, yet without a majority he would now need the active support of the Joint List, which looks futile and pointless. In post-October 7 Israel, there is no chance that a coalition including six candidates who lost immediate family to Hamas could last long alongside Joint List lawmakers who claim Hamas is simply a charitable organization. After the 1967 war, Defense Minister Moshe Dayan famously said Israel was waiting for the Arabs to call. In the same spirit, Netanyahu in effect told the change camp before dawn: here’s my phone number, feel free to use it. Yisrael Beiteinu’s Avigdor Lieberman, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Eisenkot now face a dilemma from hell. They can go to another election, one that Israelis abroad will no longer fly home for. They can try to join Netanyahu’s bloc on tough terms, breaking their campaign pledges never to sit with him. Or they can beg the Islamist Ra’am and the Joint List, now drunk on their success, for support. And one final note: for the entire campaign, we searched for a third bloc, a centrist unity bloc between Netanyahu and his rivals. Candidates included Benny Gantz and former UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan, former general Ofer Winter and economist Yaron Zelekha, former Culture Minister Hili Tropper and who even remembers who else. They all collapsed, evaporated or vanished. And now it turns out the unity bloc may have been the Arab parties all along. Their historic, almost hysterical turnout, at rates that will need careful examination, shattered both sides’ dreams of a 61-seat majority. It reminded Jews on both sides that, after years of division, they may have to learn to sit together after all. newsletter.amitsegal.net/p/i…

After October 7, Shurat HaDin demanded that the Red Cross visit Israeli hostages held by Hamas and deliver urgently needed medication. They refused — so we decided to take them to court for breaching their humanitarian and legal obligation to protect the wellbeing, health and rights of the Israeli hostages by Hamas. Now, the Red Cross president has reportedly acknowledged that earlier pressure on Hamas might have saved more lives. On ALL CAPS, @AttorneyNitsana explains why those words are so significant to our case. “We did not need the Red Cross to express regret. We needed it to save lives.” ▶️ Watch Nitsana's full statement on ALL CAPS: youtube.com/watch?v=M6eOyYG-… @ynetnews #RedCross #IsraeliHostages #ShuratHaDin

I was expecting Israel to be a little America—mostly English-speaking, a land full of convenience. What I found was distinctly Middle Eastern—the people are brash, speak with their hands, and often don't know a lick of English. There are stray cats everywhere, mopeds, and graffiti. The street signs are in Hebrew, English, and Arabic. There is a mosque on prime beachfront property in Tel Aviv. There is every kind of citizen imaginable. I saw Ethiopian Jews serving in the IDF. While touring an ancient Jewish site, I ran into a group of Arab schoolchildren also there to learn. I met a Mizrahi cab driver whose parents fled Morocco in the 50s. Douglas Murray famously made Americans irate when he flamed Dave Smith on an episode of Joe Rogan for having never traveled to Israel—but he’s right. Visiting Israel shows you just how wrong the west is about the Jewish state. Just go there.

The strength of Israeli democracy lies in its people. Yesterday, Israel recorded its highest voter turnout since 1999, with 77.7% casting their ballots. 🇮🇱🗳️

These people are so bonkers. Israel and the Jews are conspiring to raise their food prices. Be careful or we'll come into your house and steal your shoes too.
According to @bbclysedoucet the Israeli election impacts food prices in the UK. She doesn't explain how or why, but I guess it's just those pesky Jews controlling the world again.

Israel reality check:
People think the situation in Gaza and the West Bank will be significantly different if Eisenkot is PM. They are mostly wrong. I think there will be a crackdown on violent Jewish extremists if the govt changes but other than that, not much is likely to change in the short term.

Actually, if you cut an ad saying Americans are having a tough time buying bananas because we spend 1/10 of 1% of the budget on Israel -- with most of that being funneled back to U.S. defense contractors -- and not a really big storm in the Pacific, you do, in fact, hate Jews.
If you think this ad is antisemitic, you’re in a cult and don’t know it. You think Israel is owed all the money it wants from US and if Americans don’t hand it over - without complaint - they’re antisemites. That’s insane, but you don’t realize it because you’ve lost your mind.
