Farmer: "Rain, grass that grows for free, and land that won't grow anything else. Where's the waste?"

Farmer: "Are solar energy and rainfall. Both happen whether there's a cow here or not."
Activist: "You're oversimplifying."
Farmer: "I'm being accurate. Sunlight hits grass. Grass grows. Cow eats grass. Cow becomes beef. Which step wastes resources?"

This is a beautiful and important book ( my copy read enthusiastically by my dog). @csmaje elucidates why @GeorgeMonbiot ‘s ecomodernist vision is so destructive and must be countered with vehemence. Between them, @csmaje and @REGENETARIANISM could demolish Monbiot’s vision and claims in any proposed round two debate @1GarethWynJones . My plea to Monbiot: read what these two writers/ thinkers have to say and take notes.
