Recommended reading for a gal starting her MA Education in September and wants to base her thesis on disadvantaged students in secondary school and how Performing Arts may impact on bridging the gap? TIA! #edutwitter #dramaarmy #MAeducation

Has anyone had a student elect to do hair/makeup/costume for the production side of the BTEC? I'm new to the BTEC and one of my students has chosen to do production rather than performance. Any advice or example work would be greatly received! #dramaarmy
Just found out that my school are willing to fund me for 50% of my masters fees. I could cry. 🥰😭 #MAEducation

My NQT year is almost over. All assignments have been handed in, all observations have been done, all my brain cells are hanging by a thread. I’ve loved every moment of this year. #NQT #dramaarmy #edutwitter

Wouldn't it be great if there was a place where you could get reliable advice about teaching, leadership, hiring, PD and so on? Well, now there is. The best of the Marshall Memo—18 years of weekly syntheses of the best thinking in education—is here, free: bit.ly/MarshMemo

This, from @jessphillips, is genuinely outstanding. @GavinWilliamson’s lack of eye contact is depressingly predictable and wholly rude. Children and our education system deserve much better than this. – at Salford, England
Yesterday I called on the government to ensure that there is never a repeat of the shambles they made of this year's GCSEs and A Levels.

I’ve just started a ‘note’ in my phone & have been saving articles/blogs inspired by the horrific news about Sarah Everard’s murder. Mostly based on feminism & the idea that men should take responsibility for their sex’s intimidating reputation. Would you use these as stimuli?

To open your eyes to the world. To see the world from someone else’s shoes. To experience the beauty and tragedy of the world. To learn how to reflect and grow. To learn that you are more capable than you think. To build your craft. To build yourself. To learn to love learning.

What a week! I moved house as well as going back to school. Absolutely shattered but gloriously happy. Happy Friday all! Now where’s the Vino? #edutwitter #dramaarmy #dramateacher

Our Covid testing is going well today for year 11. Tomorrow we start with year 10. Time slots will be emailed later today and tomorrow for Year 7, 8 & 9. We have been holding off sending them out until we have made sure we could process students in the right time.

And we’ve reached the final day of @NationalTheatre Drama Teachers Conference, and having a session with @matthew_drama is exactly what I needed. Frank, honest discussion about what it’s like to be us. Superb. #dramaarmy #edutwitter #dramateacher 🎭
