Why is this senator still walking freely? Why does he still have the protection of the DSS? Why are so many people still walking beside him? Why is Nigeria a safe haven for criminals, terrorists and drug lords?

This man, Shehu Buba, has been exposed as terrorists sponsor. He's a Senator of the Federal Republic. A former committee chairman on national security and intelligence. Imagine someone who oversees national security and intelligence funding terrorism. Can you see why terrorism is not ending.

HE CALLS FOR UNITY AND NONVIOLENCE. THEY CALL HIM A TERRORIST. Nigeria’s illegal imprisonment of truth-speaker Nnamdi Kanu Read the Sokoto Declaration. Then look at the cell. A man chained in Sokoto just told the world, in writing, that the way forward is strict non-violence. Unity across tribe. Unity across religion. Unity across race. The basic human rights every human being is born with. Those are his words. That is now the record. That is not a terrorist. That is a conscience. And that is what the regime in Abuja cannot survive — a prisoner whose only weapon is the truth, and whose truth keeps getting louder the deeper they bury him. Nnamdi Kanu was illegally abducted from Kenya. Tried under a law that no longer existed. A British dual citizen, convicted for words spoken in London. Shackled 800 kilometers from his family in a cell in the heart of the Caliphate to silence him. It did not work. It will not work. The whole charade has collapsed. The man calls for peace and they call him a terrorist. The man calls for unity and they call him a separatist. The man calls for human rights and they call him a threat. They have run out of lies, and the world has finally learned to read. His only crime is telling the truth about a tryannical regime built on graves. Release Nnamdi Kanu. Release every prisoner of conscience. Release them today. The world is watching. History is taking names. And the prisoner of Sokoto has already won. SokotoDeclaration.com #EarthShaker

Concerns About Deteriorating Security Two weeks have passed since schoolchildren were kidnapped in Borno and Oyo States, yet they remain in captivity. Meanwhile, the government is promoting the formation of a thousand-member rescue team through the media while the children continue to suffer in the wilderness. Today, the security situation across the nation continues to deteriorate. On Sunday, terrorists killed at least seven people and injured ten others in Gwon-Ajang Village, located in the Foron District of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. In Kogi State, armed assailants kidnapped over 25 individuals and killed one resident during a coordinated raid on the Ayegunle-Igun Community in Kaba-Bunu Local Government Area. These heavily armed attackers carried out their operation in a commando-style manner, terrifying residents in the early hours of Monday. In Anambra State, we also mourn the loss of two police officers who were killed in a bandit attack. We still remember the painful incident in which armed individuals targeted three schools—Community Grammar School, Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary School, and L.A. Primary School in the Ahoro-Esinle Community (Oriire Local Government Area near Ogbomoso)—and kidnapped 46 people, including 39 students, seven teachers, and the school principal. On the same day, between 48 and 51 pupils and students in the Mussa Community (Askira-Uba Local Government Area) were abducted by suspected Boko Haram insurgents. The victims, who included young children from nursery classes as well as primary and secondary school students, were taken on May 15, 2026, and have now remained in captivity for two weeks. Meanwhile, amid all these tragic developments, we politicians remain consumed by the next election, paying far more attention to political ambitions than to the safety and well-being of our children and fellow citizens. In a nation that is not at war, the ongoing insecurity that endangers schoolchildren signifies a profound and serious challenge. -PO
