Nuclear plants are the backbone of French electricity. Cutting ~6+ GW of clean, dispatchable power right when AC demand, hospitals, and vulnerable people need it most is reckless. Blackouts or strained grids in 40°C+ weather aren’t theoretical: they cost lives. The “risk of warmer rivers” is being treated as more important than keeping the AC on for millions of humans.
