So here’s the deal. We built a resilient community over the last nine years, those people are secret. We maintain optionally to achieve our goals, and will do so by any means necessary. Follow @scrt_intern to cook with us. Our message is clear. We refuse to die. Are you in anon?
I want to make something absolutely clear. I stand with @lisaisloud. Secret Labs made the decision to walk away from Secret Network. Instead of letting it fade away, Lisa and many others in the community stepped up to preserve the blockchain, continue its development, and fight for a future that includes making those affected by the hack whole. For that, she’s been met with threats and intimidation. That has no place in this industry. Lisa, you are not standing alone. You have my full support. Publicly and privately. My voice is behind you. My resources are behind you. Your fight is my fight, and your problems are my problems. If you believe Secret Network deserves a future driven by its community, follow @SCRT_Intern. This is the new community account supporting the effort to continue the existing Secret Network blockchain and ensure its future is decided by the people who believe in it. I’ve always liked the phrase, “Big Bank Takes Little Bank.” It’s funny how some people think they have more resources and assume they can steamroll everyone else. That’s an assumption I’d think twice about making. History has a way of reminding people that conviction, unity, and persistence can outweigh assumptions about influence or resources. Communities aren’t built through intimidation. They’re built by people who refuse to back down when it matters most. Stand with @lisaisloud. Follow @SCRT_Intern. Stand with the community. Let’s finish what we started.

If Elon buys boost mobile, it will make the left extremely mad. The vast majority of their customers are low income brown people, so giving them advanced space telephones will make them realize MSNOW isn’t a great source for news on Elon.
SPACEX IN TALKS TO BUY BOOST MOBILE OR ACCESS ITS NETWORK: WAPO SpaceX $SPCX is reportedly in talks with EchoStar $ECHO over a potential acquisition of Boost Mobile or a deal to use its wireless network, as Elon Musk looks to launch a full-fledged U.S. cellphone service. Musk previously approached Verizon $VZ, AT&T $T and T-Mobile $TMUS seeking access to their networks, but all three rejected the proposal. He then met with EchoStar Chairman Charlie Ergen last month to discuss a potential deal. Boost Mobile is an existing low-cost U.S. wireless carrier that sells phone plans to consumers using network access leased from AT&T and T-Mobile. Acquiring Boost could give SpaceX an established wireless business, an existing customer base and access to nationwide cellular coverage without having to build its entire ground infrastructure from scratch. That would offer Musk a potential shortcut into the estimated $235B U.S. wireless market. The idea is to combine Starlink's satellite coverage with traditional cellular networks, which remain essential in densely populated cities where direct-to-satellite connections are less efficient. SpaceX also recently agreed to acquire roughly $8B in additional wireless spectrum to support its mobile ambitions. However, Boost's existing network agreements may not automatically transfer to SpaceX, meaning AT&T and T-Mobile could still need to approve access. Talks remain ongoing, and no deal has been reached.

THORChain can't selectively refuse a swap because the money is stolen. by design. the FBI just asked its node operators, by name, to do exactly that. October 31: the FBI attributes the $6B+ @binance hack to North Korea's TraderTraitor operation. Together with the Secret Service and IRS-CI, it urges THORNode operators, named first on its list, to block transactions involving the stolen funds. There's a legitimate reason for @THORChain 's design. No discretionary blacklist, no gatekeeper deciding who gets to trade. I've credited that before. But the consequences don't disappear because the choice was deliberate. And we have the receipts. None of the FBI's 628 listed addresses directly matched the THORChain swap addresses I examined. One hop out is a different story: 8 wallets that received THORChain payouts also transferred 5,324 ETH to 54 FBI-listed addresses. Those transfers are confirmed, but not all of that ETH can be attributed to THORChain. Meanwhile, THORChain itself was barely trading. as of 10:08 PM ET, trading was halted on 11 of 13 chains, including BTC, ETH and TRON. Only AVAX and XRP were open. An unrelated Ethereum reorg caused a 10 ETH deposit to be refunded twice. THORChain's solvency protections triggered, followed by broader halts voted through by nodes. Caught in that halt: 41 TRX -> ETH swaps from 11 wallets on Elliptic's Binance-hack list. Nearly 200 ETH accrued and unpaid. 25 of those queued swaps, accounting for 169 ETH of accrued output, point to wallets that have already sent ETH directly to FBI-listed addresses. Before the halt, swaps initiated by those same 11 TRON wallets had already produced 7,474 ETH in THORChain payouts. None of this was an intentional intervention against the thieves. Ordinary users were halted too. THORChain co-founder @CBarraford argues that CEXes hold identifying information and should work with law enforcement when hackers cash out. I agree. But the FBI's own alert identifies DeFi and instant-swap services as part of the laundering route. The money doesn't become a law-enforcement problem only when it reaches a CEX. THORChain can coordinate a halt when its own solvency is at risk. It has no deployed mechanism to selectively reject identified stolen-funds swaps. The FBI asked its operators to block transactions. For now, those 41 swaps are paused because ETH and TRON trading are halted for everyone. What happens when those routes reopen is the next test.

All very reasonable except promising no job losses due to obstinance on AI. Of course you should get fired if you refuse to comply with company strategy. That's the job! That's what the money is for! Also, don't apologize, it's never enough for the mob.

It's very important for leaders to understand that once you're dealing with a "rebellion" there's nothing you can do that'll appease the rebels. It'll never be enough. Not for them, not for the press egging them on. They will not rest until your head is on a spike.

haha, so apparently OpenAI are about to start training on your Daybreak Blue sessions, with no way to opt out. Literally stealing people's private work, as they do it, is cartoonishly evil. It also will presumably kill Daybreak usage by security researchers. Or at least, it should. The thing OAI have had to swear they are not doing to math researchers, they are now explicitly about to start doing to security researchers. Yet another reminder of the importance of open models.

This is INSANE. Cisco’s president Jeetu Patel has given a 27-year-old engineer unlimited AI tokens to try to rewrite 98% of the company’s legacy code within 24 months, Fortune reports. Padmanabhan Krishnamurthy thinks he can do it with a two-person team. He has just four weeks to prove the approach.

When I started using Grok Bot a few weeks ago, I was testing it alongside ChatGPT and Claude, but unlike those two tools that could be used side by side for different use cases, Grok Bot immediately replaced both of them. I just don’t use them any more. Has anyone else found this? Are we Grok Bot groupies now?

Trying to think of how the media will frame this as bad here’s what I have so far “Elon Musk is turning blind people into terminators. If we allow the blind to see the inevitable result is that they will kill us all. This must be stopped. Investigate Elon Musk.” How did I do?
Our second product is called Blindsight and it will, as the name suggests, enable even those who are completely blind or have never seen to see. It is ready from an engineering standpoint. Just waiting on regulatory approval.
