New case study from Outloud: Black Control Box 🔥
We built the entire digital side of BCB: hardware integration, the cloud platform, a kiosk app running inside the machines, AI features, UX/UI and launch materials.
Really happy with this one.
How a website edit works at PostGeneric now:
Our clients just ask in ChatGPT or Claude. Small changes ship on their own. Bigger ones go to a designer or dev for review first.
AI does the typing. Humans protect the brand.

New @madebyoutloud website is live.
@OKostolnak built most of it himself in just a few weeks. Our previous site was on Webflow, and this would've probably taken longer to build there.
Funny how no code tools are starting to feel more complicated than actually writing code.
Micro-interactions never make it into the brief.
They're also exactly what people mean when they say a product "feels premium". We treat them as part of the product, not decoration.
Everyone can generate a website in five minutes now.
Which means a website alone says nothing about you anymore. Taste does.
Best use of AI in our studio so far isn't generating designs.
It translated a huge Figma file into another language for us. Weeks of soul-crushing work nobody wanted to do.
Let AI do the boring stuff. Keep humans on the decisions that make you different.
Almost every money app is blue, white and 'trustworthy'. Which is exactly why nobody remembers them.
We've been exploring a darker, warmer direction for a money app.
Money is emotional. Most finance UI pretends it isn't 🔥
Hot take: users judge your product in about 3 seconds, and most SaaS dashboards fail that test.
Before vs after. Which one would you trust with your money?
Hot take for founders: if your designer can't explain why a screen works better, 'taste' is not an answer.
Good design survives the question 'why?'
AI can make things look nice. Explaining why they work is still the job.
We drew 40+ custom illustrations for Bratislava's public transport app.
Sounds like overkill for a city app. But hundreds of thousands of people open it every day, and nobody should feel like they're filling in a government form just to catch a bus 🚍
Hey @X, I'd love to connect with people into:
• Web design & development
• Software engineering
• UI/UX & web animations
• AI in real businesses
• SaaS & startups
• Indie makers
Building something cool? Let's connect 👀
Hot take: AI isn't making people smarter. It's making a lot of smart people dumber.
And most of them haven't noticed yet. 🧵
And they'll build real relationships. When everything is automated, trust is the scarcest thing you can offer.
I'm watching brilliant people get great at AI and lose the skills that made them brilliant. The fix isn't less AI. It's being deliberate about what you delegate.
One part of our Dribbble experiment still bugs me.
We hired a few designers with insanely polished portfolios, just to check. The work they delivered was miserable.
If you're hiring a designer, ask to see a shipped product. Not a shot.
