Good UI is becoming easier to create. A product people actually remember? That's a different challenge. With Out of Dark, we wanted to give the product its own personality.

Ships waiting, berths free, containers to check. More explorations of the 3D port logistics tool 🚢 The goal is to see what's happening in the port and act on it right there.

New @madebyoutloud website is live. @OKostolnak built most of it himself in just a few weeks. Our previous site was on Webflow, and this would've probably taken longer to build there. Funny how no code tools are starting to feel more complicated than actually writing code.

Built a small tool that turns text into particles. Type something, pick how it moves, play with the cursor, export the code

What if some business apps felt less like dashboards and more like systems you can actually explore? Imagine managing a port through an interactive 3D ship. You click containers, spot delays, understand flows and solve problems in context, not through another spreadsheet. Not everything needs this. But for some complex products, spatial interfaces might make more sense than another clean UI full of charts.

This little editor started with a single image when Fable first came out. I have lots of experiments like this, built just to explore an idea and see how it feels to use. I’m cleaning up my Claude folders now, so I’ll share a few.

Three versions of the PostGeneric website in three months. We’ve been shipping, trying different directions and seeing what works. We want the site to have more personality and feel like us. There’s still plenty to improve, so we’ll keep experimenting. postgeneric.com

Next is a Bitcoin savings app for people holding crypto for the first time, so we wanted it to feel calm and simple. A swipe to send money was one of the first things we got right.
