Remember when absolutely everyone swore that Jason Momoa was born to be Lobo and that he would be more successful than Aquaman as the character AND no one gives a fuck about Lobo now?
This guy used to tweet #ReleaseTheSnyderCut with us lol
Official statement from incoming chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform @RepRobertGarcia:

The gaslighting from the DCU/Real DC fans that led that studio into believing Michael Keaton coming back as Batman and turning Jason Momoa into Lobo will make their films successful has to be their greatest accomplishment ever. Truly remarkable work. Generational ship sinking
Never forget that WB took Jason Momoa from the highest grossing DC movie of all time and had him playing a C-list villain in a movie that failed to outgross his Aquaman sequel that they gave up on.
It's like if Disney took RDJ and gave him a villain role in The Eternals.

Replying to @Lebromelo
Get Out had a $4.5M budget and marketing costs of $25M
Joker had a $55M budget and marketing costs of $120M
IT had a $35M budget and marketing costs of $150M
If we being generous, 50m marketing is the bare minimum. Break-even should be something around 200m. Guaranteed flop
Zack Snyder wrote all of his movies and he extensively talked about it
Sometimes he gets official credit, sometimes not
My real talk on Zack Snyder:
1. He needs to focus strictly on directing. A visual genius when paired with good screenwriters (300, Watchmen, Man of steel, ZSJL are peak). Taking on DP, storywriter and editor duties on Army of the Dead (the spin off was a better movie) and Rebel Moon exposed major weaknesses.
2. Rebel Moon was an absolute misfire....from clunky pacing and weak character writing to over-relying on Netflix director’s cuts. Shit was do bad it legit damaged his mainstream credibility.
3. The Last Photograph premiered to extreme negative reactions, meaning this one ain't fixing the momentum right now.
Just hand him a solid script and lock him in the director chair only 🔥

Everyone follow @Violetnassiri_ she is back her account got hacked 😐🫶❤️
The pressure hasn't even started yet
Everytime an Avengers movie breaks records shareholders wake up and want DC to compete. It happens in a 7 years cycle
Gunn's turn
For those keeping track... here are the facts.
DC's CLAYFACE cost approximately $40–44M before a substantial P&A marketing spend, and WB does not keep the entire worldwide gross. At a likely $115–125M finish, it may eventually become profitable through post-theatrical revenue.
That doesn’t make it a breakout hit or generate the (pop) cultural momentum DC desperately needs.
“Probably won’t lose money” is an awfully low standard for one of the world’s biggest IP brands. Analysis isn’t hate simply because fans dislike the conclusion.
Get it? Got it. Good.
Joker making a billion on a $50m budget didn't have the motion Clayface is having for making $80m on a $45M budget so far 🤣🤣🤣
Shit is so fake.
Isn't the idea that DC brand should give a boost to genre films? So instead of trying to reach Smile (and fail), it should outperform it?
Smile had half the budget too.
lololol if you think #Clayface is even remotely approximating SMILE’s global BO

I’m so glad the Snyder Cut came out and created a split in this bullshit. Thank you WB for telling Zack his movie wasn’t canon and created an alternate universe.
Hamada has been cursed for this
People don't realize WB executives didn't want to touch Wonder Woman lol
She was seen as an hokey character that belongs to the 1970s
Snyder was hired for a reason. He was trusted for modernization & cinematic flair
TV pilot 2011/2014 reveal
During the early days of the DCEU Snyder will post once every 5 months on Twitter and you'd have to wait for something like Comic Con to hear more
Snyder has also developed into having an eye on social media (to a fault imo)
