Multiple Kenyans have now been indicted by federal grand juries on SEVERAL federal charges, including theft of government money and aggravated identity theft.
American victims — some of which never went to college — were victims of this scheme, had their identities stolen, and their credit absolutely WRECKED.

Last week, I was invited to Crawford International School in Tatu City to speak to students about drug abuse prevention. I was accompanied by Martha Njoki, Mwalimu Ibrahim Kahiga, and Gengetone artist Madoxx.
These are three individuals whose lives I had the privilege of helping transform from the streets to recovery, and now to becoming living testimonies of hope, resilience, and a second chance at life.

KENYATTA vs ODINGA: THE POLITICAL BETRAYAL THAT LEFT KENYA DIVIDED? 🇰🇪🔥
Jomo Kenyatta and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga fought colonial rule together. One became President. The other became Vice-President. But the brotherhood did not last.
By 1966, their differences over ideology, power and the direction of independent Kenya had exploded. Odinga left KANU and formed the Kenya People's Union (KPU). The political fallout was about to become much bigger than two men.
Then came 1969.
Tom Mboya, a powerful Luo politician, was assassinated. Anger erupted. Kenyatta's motorcade was stoned in Kisumu, people were killed when security forces opened fire, and Odinga was arrested after the KPU was banned.
Let's stop pretending this was just ordinary political competition. Opposition was increasingly crushed, Odinga was sidelined, and Kikuyu dominance in the state deepened as many Luos felt politically excluded.
The consequences outlived both men. Their rivalry became part of a wider history in which political power, land, state appointments and ethnic identity became dangerously entangled.
But here's the uncomfortable question: Did Kenya's founding leaders build one nation—or create a political system in which communities would keep fighting over who gets to rule it?
And why should ordinary Kikuyus and Luos inherit bitterness from decisions made by powerful politicians decades ago?
History is brutal. The truth matters more than tribal loyalty.
Was this the betrayal of Kenya's independence dream, or was the feud more complicated than the ethnic narrative we tell today? 🇰🇪
