Do you know what happens if you remove PvP from Extraction Shooters? They still work fine.
Do you know what happens when you remove PvE? It's deathmatch on a big map.
If you ONLY care about PvP in Extraction Shooters and you spend all your time hunting players, you don't want an Extraction Shooter.
You want to kill people who are distracted and busy doing other things.
Most of us want a MIX of PvPvE. The tension the PvP brings is what makes the genre so special.
There is no tension when you're headbutting 3 teams in the first 3 minutes.

Ironic how the PvP side screams that fighting other players is one of the best parts of the mode and should be preserved, then admit in the same breath that if no PvP was an option, that everyone would rush to it

The PvP vs PvE argument is officially hitting its peak. Something changed with the match making and now NO ONE is having a good time.
The hilarious part of all this is that Marathon & ARCs player count dropped off the map bcuz of PvP but people still wanna argue that DMZ doesnt need a PvE mode LMAO Wait til the numbers drop off here too. Especially once Warzone releases and 90% of the PvP players leave too LOL
TLDR: DMZ needs 2 modes. Regular PvPvE AND PvE only. Bookmark this. The mode will die if something doesnt change.

He then uses the unknown characters and changes completely everything about them. This is the whole start of this PvE vs PvP drama.
Modern Warfare 4 is the first call of duty since like 2008 to NOT include some form of PvE mode, ie Zombies, Spec Ops, Survival, etc
PvP get multiplayer, Warzone, and now DMZ.

So I actually did record some loot runs before the update and I was recording yesterday to test out the new update.
Left image is pre-update. Right is post-update.
Notice how 5 minutes into a match post-update, 3 towers are up and then in pre-update, nothing.
This is going to be the experience for the next week and unfortunately, I completed all the missions solo so basically I'm going to be screwed over because I played the game and progressed through it. I'm now forced to matchmake into lobbies that I don't want to be a part of or find any enjoyment in.
And that my friends is how you ruin your mode in a week.

hot dmz take: a big aspect of dmz is getting to choose your own playstyle. A player deciding to focus on PVP isn't a bad thing. You should be able to choose. There's a reason why for PVE, there's so many skills you can choose to help protect you from PVP players
