Or in the act.
Don't let those who profit and feed on division divide us. There are good, decent, people of all walks, all creeds and all persuasions.
If we're all looking, all caring about finding the actual truth, they can muddy the waters all they like.
Eventually, one by one, the lies will be exposed and the truth will surface.

A few more updates on the Binance mess.
- First of all, Binance's latest official statement confirms that all deposits and withdrawals remain suspended while security checks are underway.
This is understandable given the nature and seriousness of the incident, but as I always did also in less dramatic times, I would encourage users to calmly and safely transfer assets they don't need on the exchange into wallets they control once withdrawals become available again. Do not rush, do not panic, verify your transfers with small amounts first, and be particularly careful about scams.
Now, about the scale of the incident.
- @chainalysis has estimated that approximately $5.912 BILLION was stolen at the time of the attack. @trmlabs has reportedly put the figure above $6 billion.
Binance itself has now published an estimated total impact of approximately $6.3 BILLION, with around $3 billion in assets frozen on-chain so far.
These are enormous numbers, obviously. Do keep in mind that frozen funds, recovered funds, and funds ultimately lost are very different things. We still do not know the final, irrecoverable loss.
- Binance has also provided a preliminary explanation of what might have happened.
According to the exchange, the incident may have involved a compromised laptop belonging to a DevOps engineer, which allowed the attackers to access an internal service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. Binance says it has found no evidence of leaked wallet private keys.
As I keep repeating, In the current security climate, even the smallest mistake, old assumptions, old habits, old practices, plain hubris, can bring down even the biggest players in the industry. And the bigger you are, the more difficult you become to secure.
Anybody underestimating the risk at this moment is a fool.
- Separately, @CoinDesk examined Binance's own proof-of-reserves data and found that the wallets affected by the incident were among those used to demonstrate the backing of customer deposits.
According to their calculations, Binance's ETH reserve ratio COULD have fallen from 100% to approximately 94%, assuming that the missing assets have not already been replaced.
Binance has promised to publish updated proof-of-reserves figures once the remediation is complete.
More updates as reliable information becomes available.
People laugh at us when we say that keeping Dogecoin simple is its own kind of protection.

• Anoncoin: you personally promoted a Solana launchpad as bringing memecoin creation back to Dogecoin. Your own announcement said native Dogecoin support was still a future step. You were selling the destination before delivering the integrations. You better deliver more than one year later.
ZK: DogeOS promoted the proposed upgrade in July 2025 as enabling advanced applications on Dogecoin. Fifteen months later, it still isn’t in Dogecoin Core. A proposal and its promised benefits are not an implemented upgrade.
MyDoge: Doginals support was offered, then withdrawn in September 2026. Existing users lost that functionality while the next ecosystem was being promoted

• HOD/CleanCore: an “Official Dogecoin Treasury” launched in September 2025. Management agreements ended in February 2026; CleanCore sold its remaining DOGE in July. Its filing reports 70 million DOGE transferred in connection with terminating those agreements. The strategy ended; substantial payments were still made. Not to Mention the SEC and ONC Bar on Andrew DeFrancesco for pump and dump.
Now we’re being sold Dogecoin Labs as a “new chapter” and you guys are compromising dogecoin core dev X accounts and turn it to @DogecoinLabs. one could say you try usurp dogecoin identity and sell your private org marketing bs.
