On #WorldEBHCDay, we're reminded that improving health outcomes starts with trust, evidence, and the people who bring both to their communities. In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), community health workers like Bonard are expanding access to life-saving vaccines—and building trust in healthcare along the way. Working with @BDO_USA, @PATHtweets is using Microsoft Defender XDR to simplify security and free up resources, so more time and budget can go toward supporting people in more places. His mother thought he was going to die. 💙 At five months old, Elian Korir was rushed to hospital in the middle of the night with a severe malaria fever. His family took out a loan to pay the bills. One month later, he became the first child in Kenya to receive the malaria vaccine. He is now seven years old — and he has never had severe malaria since. In Homa Bay County, malaria infection rates have fallen from 27% to 3.6% in just five years. Over 100,000 children vaccinated. More than 32,000 fewer hospitalisations. Families no longer choosing between healthcare and food. Behind every statistic is a child. Behind every child is a family. Behind every family is a community that refused to accept the unacceptable. @PATHtweets #VaccinationSavesLives #VaccinateToProtect
